The Chase County Sheriff's Office via their FaceBook page reported:

The Chase County Sheriff’s has been investigating sightings of Drones in Chase County since Saturday December 28th 2019. Last night we documented sightings in Chase County from the northern part of the county, to both the southern and eastern parts. These Drones appear to have a span of 5 feet so they are rather large. There were also sightings in Perkins County and as far east as Palisade. Deputies have been out tracking the Drones in order to determine where they were coming from and where the operators of the Drones are located.

The Sheriff’s Office has been diligently working with surrounding agencies in Nebraska and Colorado. We have been sharing information in an attempt to discover the origin of the Drones. We have also been in contact with Department of Homeland Security, FAA, and FBI. At this time we have been unsuccessful locating who is operating the Drones or what the motive is behind flying them in our area. We are continuing to work with State and Federal Authorities to solve this bizarre case.

The Sheriff’s Office would ask that you keep reporting the sightings of the Drones, so they can be documented, including any suspicious vehicles or persons in the area. Please call the non-emergency number at 308-882-4748. It appears the Drones are being flown after dark and continue for several hours. They have been spotted as late as 10:30 pm. We appreciate the public’s assistance in this matter.

UFO Triangle Reported By Police Officer

A Nebraska police officer in Omaha reported watching a slow-moving triangle UFO under 500 feet above a local Walmart store, according to testimony in Case 74492 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database. The police officer was patrolling the area near Walmart and looked up and saw the triangle-shaped craft at 5:38 p.m. on January 13, 2016.

The sighting happened rather quickly under partly cloudy skies.

Massive, V-Shaped UFO Comes Within Feet of Witness

     A Nebraska witness at Omaha reported watching what first appeared as a white cloud that moved in close revealing a large, boomerang-shaped UFO, according to testimony from Case 71558 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The incident occurred beginning at 8:20 p.m. on October 4, 2015, as the witness stepped outside onto a third floor deck.

“It was just turning dusk and the stars were not shining that bright yet,” the witness stated.“My deck faces east and as I glanced to the left, which is north, I noticed a white cloud very low just over the tree tops. There was little wind, but the cloud was moving very slowly which seemed odd.”

More details were revealed once the object moved closer.

“As it came closer it changed shape into a V-shaped craft, dark gray in color. There were no lights and it had the faint sound of the wind as it moved to the south.”

The object was very close to the witness at this point.

“It was maybe 10 feet above me when it was directly in front of me. The image as it appeared was one of mass, very large, maybe 50 to 75 feet across. It was so close that I couldn’t make out the whole of it, just the wings. I kept thinking, am I really experiencing this? I knew it was a UFO, but it was still hard to believe what I was seeing. I didn’t move, just stood mesmerized that this was happening.”

UFOs Spotted Over Omaha

     A Nebraska witness at Omaha reported watching three, “cylinder-shaped objects” flying slowly in formation, according to testimony in Case 64336 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness stepped outside at 11:20 p.m. on March 30, 2015, and noticed an object crossing the sky that could not be identified.

“My first thought was that it was so quiet because usually if a plane flies overhead I can hear it all too well,” the witness stated.

The witness then noticed more objects.

“I also noticed that it had three pale yellow, cigar shapes running parallel to each other moving in formation as it flew west. I thought it was strange because except for the pale yellow coloring, there were no other lights, but still I thought maybe it was a plane.”

Then one of the cigar objects moved out of formation.

“As I thought that, the middle cigar shape moved out of formation and then a second later back into formation. So, then I thought maybe it wasn’t one solid object at all, maybe three small, pale, planes flying in formation for some reason.”

The witness felt uneasy and went back inside. . . .

      Just before 6 a.m. on Sept. 4th, KLKN's HD Towercam 8 gave Channel 8's Morning Meteorologist Sean McMullen a less than normal view.

"I have never seen anything like this before. I even say that several times while I'm on air describing the object, because I want to let people know even I don't know what this is, so I can't exactly tell you what it is," he says.

The triangular-shaped, flashing object appears to be floating above the Capital City.

By the time the sun comes up, we can't see it anymore.

McMullen says it was visible for about 45 minutes. A Channel 8 viewer captured similar footage.

"It's an unidentified object. We don't know if it was flying, floating, what it is," says Rich Webb, with the Mutual UFO Network.

     My son and I were driving to our cabin when I noticed an object only a few hundred feet in the air, it was moving slowly with several lights, almost resembling a combine in the air. It had one pulsating orange ish light and several small white lights around the border that easily resemble stars however it defiantly formed the outline of the object.

The first time we saw it for only thirty seconds before all of a sudden it was gone.

The second time was a few miles further down the road when my son noticed it again. This time we watched it slowly move Northeast, we were driving 70mph and it was pulling away from us. At first I thought it could be a large aircraft like a B-2 bomber however Ive never seen a plane that could move that slow.

It definitely blended into the sky well but the lights easily made it stand out in the dark sky. Im still very unsure what it is we saw but know for a fact its nothing like anything Ive seen before. . . .

     A Nebraska witness driving to work along a two-lane road February 7, 2011, watched a glowing object near ground level shoot into the sky, according to testimony submitted February 19 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness first noticed the glowing.

"As I was driving along the two lane highway, off to the west I could see something glowing over a hill, much like a combine looks when it's harvesting at night in the fall, or even like the sun might look as it's coming up over the horizon in the east," the witness stated. "Just a glow. I drove for a mile or two, keeping an eye on the glow, wondering just what it was coming from."

As the witness continued driving, the object shot up into the sky.

     SIDNEY – There is an ages-old question more than a few men have spent their lives trying to answer: Are we alone in the cosmos?

Robert Hastings believes we are not.

And, he has compiled more than 120 eyewitness reports over nearly 40 years that say there isn’t just life out there – it has been here to visit.

Hastings is a UFO sightings researcher, the operator of UFOHastings.com and the author of “UFOs and Nukes: Extraordinary Encounters At Nuclear Weapons Sites,” who says western Nebraska is no stranger to UFO visits – primarily driven by the density of missile sites in the area.

His research on the matter brought him to the Nebraska Panhandle in December of last year after he received numerous accounts of UFO sightings near the F.E. Warren Air Force Base missile field. During his four-day stay, he collected testimony from Sidney, Potter and Kimball residents.

“I have received over a dozen sighting reports in western Nebraska and southeast Wyoming near missile sites,” Hastings told The Sidney Sun-Telegraph in a telephone interview.

Those reports suggest that cigar-, cylindrical-, or triangle-shaped flying objects hovered near missile sites, or were seen flying or turning at speeds no known human aircraft could.
