Missing 'Flying Saucer' Abductee Found | UFO CHRONICLE – 1975

The brother of Travis Walton, who has been missing since he was purportedly struck by "a ray of bluish light" [from a flying saucer] last week, told authorities today he had found Walton and was taking him to a private hospital.

By Casa Grande Dispatch
11-11-1975
The Navajo County Sheriff's deputies said Sheriff Marlin Gillespie received a long distance phone call about 9:15 a.m. today from a man he recognized as Duane Walton. Walton said he was calling from Tucson, a deputy said.

Walton told the sheriff that "he had picked up his brother last night. He said he got a call from him (Travis Walton) in the Heber area, picked him up and was taking him into a hospital. We think it might be in Tucson, but we're not even sure of that, “a deputy said.

The deputy said Walton had said he would call the sheriff again today and "give us more particulars on that. He said his brother was in a very confused state and they (the family) were concerned about his mental health. They were taking him to a private hospital."

[...]

Walton's mother, Mrs. Mary Kellet, had said Monday though her son Duane that she believed her son was carried off in a spacecraft and that further search for him was futile.

Goulette described the object as about 15 feet in diameter and 8 to 10 feet thick. He said it was about 15 feet above and 20 yards from their truck. He said it had no windows, but had what appeared to be darker "dividers" outlined in a dim, yellowish glow.

Goulette said the beam came from the bottom of the object, "in a saucer shape, just like you'd see in a movie.

"It hit him like a jolt," Goulette said.

Senator Denied Access to Air Force's Top Secret UFO Information | UFO CHRONICLE – 1975

Senator Denied Access to Air Force's Top Secret UFO Information

The subject of UFOs is one that has interested me for some time. About ten or twelve years ago I made an effort to find out what was in the building ["The Blue Room"] at Wright Patterson Air force Base where the [UFO] information is stored that has

been collected by the Air Force, and I was understandably denied this request. It is still classified above Top Secret. I have, however, heard that there is a plan underway to release some, if not all, of this materiel in the near future. I'm just as anxious to see this material as you are, and I hope we will not have to wait too much longer.

Aerial UFO Encounter by Air Force Commander
A former commander in the Yugoslavian Air Force and Air Defence has spoken candidly about an alleged encounter with a space ship, the likes of which he had never seen before.
General Zvonimir Jurjevic was serving as head of the 172 Aviation Regiment in Titograd – now Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro – in 1975 when a brightly-coloured UFO came into the Air Force’s vicinity.

General Jurjevic said he first spotted the UFO in a routine flight in January of that year.

He described the object as having the ability to constantly change colours and was deliberately trying to be noticed.

The commander said: “The object looked like a glowing orb, very well visible, maybe 10 times lighter than the brightest star at that moment.

UFOs Visited Nuclear Missile Sites & Bomber Bases According to The Defense Department

During two weeks in 1975, a string of the nation's supersensitive nuclear missile launch sites and bomber bases were visited by unidentified, low-flying and elusive objects, according to Defense Department reports.

and sabotage-alert forces, occurred at installations in Montana, Michigan and Maine, and led to extensive but unsuccessful Air Force attempts to track and detain the objects.

Air Force and Defense Department records variously describe the objects as helicopters, aircraft, unknown entities and brightly lighted, fast-moving vehicles that hovered over nuclear weapons storage areas and evaded all pursuit efforts.

In several instances, after base security had been penetrated, the Air Force sent fighter planes and airborne command planes aloft to carry on the unsuccessful pursuit. The records do not indicate if the fighters fired on the intruders.

Incident at Pleasant Ridge

Joe Borda believed a UFO landed on his Mount Pleasant tobacco farm in 1975 until the day he died.

The incident went almost completely undocumented until earlier this year when freelance journalist, author and media consultant Bob Mitchell wrote and self published Incident at Pleasant Ridge: A Canadian UFO Mystery. . . .

One of Canada's former top UFOlogists, Henry McKay tried to find information on the incident, but couldn't.

“It's very strange, there is almost no information available. What is, is in the book. Almost everyone who investigated or had anything to do with it is dead or hasn't come forward,” he said.

Mitchell said that faithful night on Borda's farm in something left a circular burn in the field which bent the crop and left a purple liquid on the ground. . . .

Encounter with Hovering Egg-Shaped UFO

Encounter with Hovering Egg-Shaped UFO

Canadian witness recalls encounter
with hovering egg-shaped UFO

“As we crested this hill I noticed an object out of the corner of my eye,” the witness stated. “And as I looked to the west I saw this object – soft yellow – moving toward us. We stood there for about two minutes as it slowly moved toward us – arguing as to what it might be.”
A Canadian witness at Abbotsford, British Columbia, recalled a frightening experience with a silent, egg-shaped object that hovered nearby for three minutes before moving away at “warp drive,” according to June 6, 2014, testimony in Case 56883 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The events occurred in May 1975 as the reporting witness and a friend were walking home as they reached the crest of a hill facing north at the Sumas Mt. Road and Dawson Road intersection.

. . . The two quickly ruled out an airplane as it was moving too slow or a helicopter because it was not making any sound.

Well it keeps coming closer. Now keep in mind on Sumas Mountain at night if a neighbor dropped a tire iron the whole mountain top would hear it. This hill before the four corners is like a knoll where you could see back and then clearly to the west, north and clearly to the east.”

Then the object stopped directly in front of them and the two froze.

“I could hear my heart pounding in my chest. The vessel hovered for around three minutes. Then it starts to leave slowly at first. Then it went into like a warp drive. As it rose up the eastern mountain side it maintained the level of a plane. It seemed like it used the side of the mountain as a launch ramp.”

The witness described the object.

“It was egg-shaped but with a substantially flattened bottom – no visible ports or windows – no sound – not a wisp – no visible exhaust. Also it was the size of a small house – 30 to 50 feet in diameter.”

The object left a trail as it moved away. . . .

UFOs Spotted at Nuclear bases and Missile Sites | UFO CHRONICLE – 1977

UFOs Spotted at Nuclear bases and Missile Sites - www.theufochronicles.com

"Mysterious UFOs flew near or hovered over nuclear bomb storage areas of two Strategic Air Command (SAC) bases and near at least 10 missile sites during a three-week period in 1975 ..."

Several times the Air Force scrambled jet fighters and helicopters to chase down the UFOs but failed to intercept them.

hovering over a SAC base, but the men aboard said they couldn't see the intruder object – even though men on the ground could see both craft.

In several instances the mysterious UFOs were first reported to be helicopters, but an Air Force spokesman admitted: "The overflights were not identified as helicopters. Unsuccessful attempts were made to trace the craft."

The Enquirer uncovered these UFO sightings by digging through official Air Force documents available under the Freedom of Information Act.

On October 27, 28 and 31, 1975, a UFO invaded the security of Loring Air Force Base in Limestone, Maine, hovering over the weapons storage area.

The first night the UFO was seen visually for 35 minutes and tracked on radar for 40 minutes more. The next night the object hovered only 150 feet over the weapons storage area. A helicopter was sent up and flew within 1,000 ft. of the UFO – but the crew could not see it.

'Another' Missile Launch Officer Comes Forward and Shares UFO Experience; Requests Others To Do Same

Launch Control Facility (LCF)
The Incident

By Bruce

My first name is Bruce. I spent 20 years in the Air Force. The first nine years I served as an enlisted man and the last 11 as an officer. Initially I was very skeptical about all the “UFO nonsense.” In the fall of 1975 I was a Minuteman III Combat Crew commander on alert with my deputy “Sam” (a lieutenant who had prior enlisted service with TAC units). In order to stay awake that night we monitored radio communication between the topside NCOIC (“Sgt Jones”) and the cops - actually Security Alert Team or SAT. They were on patrol near one of our 10 missile sites which was south about 9 or 10 miles from the Launch Control Facility or LCF.

Sometime around 2 A.M. we heard Sgt Jones ask the two cops to stop the vehicle , look around and report anything that the saw that looked unusual. He gave no hints about where to look or what to look for. The response at first was that they didn't see anything. Then a few seconds later, they reported in an excited voice that they saw a pulsating white thing in the sky. They could see flashing red and blue lights between the pulsations. Jones asked where they saw it. The cops responded that it was to the north about 10 miles and that it looked very close to the main capsule. Now fully awake, Sam and I looked at each other and wondered what was going on. I called Jones on the hot line between us and asked him about the conversation he just had with the SAT. He said that right now above the LCF (100 feet or so) was a white pulsating light with red and blue lights visible between the pulsations. He also said it was shaped like a “fat cigar” and appeared to be about 50 to 60 feet long. He was looking at it while we talked on the phone. Jones reported that it moved away.

Sgt Jones called back in a few minutes and said that it appeared to stop a few miles away - very close to one of the missile sites. We ordered the cops to that missile site but they had to return to the capsule for batteries for their flashlights and other equipment. When they finally headed towards the silo, the pulsating light moved away before they got there. Over the next couple of hours the pulsating light made stops very close to several more missile sites. Each time we tried to send the cops to the site in question. Each time the cops said they had car problems and/or other equipment problems and never actually made it to any of the sites. According to Jones, some time around 4:30 AM it “whooshed away” and turned into a white dot within a few seconds. The white dot stayed in the sky for a few more seconds and then totally disappeared.

While this was going on, during one of our communication checks with all the other launch control capsule commanders in our squadron we mentioned the object and received some chuckles and ridicule. Within a minute or so one of the other commanders called our capsule said that he was told by his topside crew that they had the same sort of lights over their missile sites earlier that night but didn't want to say anything about it in the communications check for fear of ridicule. He said that he had not and would not report the incident to headquarters – again for fear of ridicule. Sam and I reported it to SAC and Warren Control center right after that call and were laughed at and told to call back if it “ate the cops” we had sent to check it out, which of course did not happen as they never got close to the sites. Even though we were laughed at each time we called, we made sure that it was officially reported with about 3 or 4 more calls to the Control center. On the final call we insisted that they include it in their log or we would wake the base commander. I wish we had.

The next morning after our alert we were relieved by a new crew and went topside. Sgt Jones was there curled up in a chair. He was wide awake and still quite upset and scared about his experience. We spent some time talking to him and trying to calm him down. Under promise that we wouldn't report the SAT actions, Sgt Jones also told us that the cops (SAT) were scared to death last night and had decided they were not going to drive to any of the sites that had “that thing” over it under any circumstances. That explained all their vehicle and equipment problems. To this day I am convinced that Sgt Jones believed that he saw something very unusual that night and was sincere in his description of the activity. I did not see Sgt Jones again on any other alert duty.

At the next several crew departure meetings all outgoing crews were briefed that this event never officially happened and not to talk to anyone about it. I did not recognize the individual who briefed us at that departure meeting. As a serviceman who followed orders for 20 years I have had reservations about mentioning this incident.

However, in the past several years I have read about or seen on the Larry King TV show cases where similar incidents have been reported by former military members. A former Missile commander - Robert Salas especially comes to mind. Since skeptics appear to have challenged their integrity as well as their memory I think it is time for all of us that have been silent to talk about what we observed.
