A MAN and his family were left stunned when they spotted three bright red lights hovering silently in the sky, claiming there was no “regular explanation” for what they saw.

A MELBOURNE family claimed to have seen something unexplainable hovering over their house over the weekend and even managed to snap a picture of the mystery object.

Paul Steinberg told news.com.au that he was in the driveway of his North Caulfield home with his daughter at about 8pm on Saturday night when they both spotted the UFO.

“It was flying just under the clouds. It looked like three red lights in a triangular formation all moving silently together in a westerly direction,” Mr Steinberg said.

Arizona witness says UFO escorted by two military jets

An Arizona witness at McNeal reported watching a boomerang-shaped UFO that appeared to be escorted by two military jets about 9:08 p.m. on September 9, 2014, according to testimony in Case 59707 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The reporting witness and his mother were in their barn feeding horses when a rumbling sound was heard overhead.

“I’ve heard that a hundred times,” the witness stated. “There was a full moon rising in the east about three or four fingers above the horizon and a very clear night. I looked up to the west to where I heard the plane and saw red lights moving southeast; but it was strange.”

The witness described the object.

“It had five lights in a boomerang pattern – one on the nose and two more on each side. If it was a plane it was the biggest plane I’ve ever seen. It was really high up too. But I’ve seen airliners around that same height and it was five times bigger than those.”

The witness then noticed two fighter jets in the area.

“There were two jet fighters tailing slightly behind the tips of its wings. I knew they were separate aircraft because they moved independently from the red lights which stayed together and they were not red but more like white/ yellow in color. As the object and jets passed over I could see the jets had blinking aircraft lights – like you see on all aircraft.” . . .

UFOs Reported Over N.J.

Sky Lanterns
By Philly.com
2-18-09

PARSIPPANY, N.J. - Once again, mysterious red lights in the sky have residents in north-central New Jersey scratching their heads.

It's the third time in about a month that Morris County residents have reported seeing the lights.

Police in Morris Plains, Morris Township, Hanover and Morristown each reported getting a few calls from residents last night night.

The callers say they saw as many as 10 red lights floating in the sky, moving in unison and in the same direction as the wind from about 8:45 p.m. to 9 p.m.

No one knows where the lights are coming from, but a Michigan-based maker of Sky Lanterns says it could be his product. The lanterns have balloons and wax-infused cloth and are set aloft during celebrations.

New Jersey Under Alien Attack — Maybe

UFOs Over New Jersey 1-5-09
By FOXNEWS.COM HOME

Unidentified flying objects were spotted over suburban New Jersey Monday night — but local cops aren't too worried about little green men.

"We didn't really know what they were. They were bright, red lights," Whippany resident Paul Hurley, a pilot who works at nearby Morristown Airport, told MyFoxNY TV. "They were just kind of floating along."

What Hurley, his family and dozens of others in Morris County saw were five flickering red lights, one as a pair and the other as a trio, moving across the sky.

"I've been in the aviation industry about 20 years, so I knew they weren't airplanes," added Hurley, who captured video footage of the strange lights.

"It was unsettling for sure," his wife Cindy Hurley told WCBS-TV. "It was something you've never seen before, and a very strange pattern."

The authorities, however, have a pretty good idea of what the UFOs might have been.

"We are reasonably certain, from what we were able to observe," Morristown Police Lt. James Cullen told the Bergen Record, "that they were red flares attached to a balloon."
