UFO Spotted Hovering Over Neighbor's Home
A Cameron, NC, witness reported watching a “bright, round” UFO hovering over a neighbor’s house that quickly shot off into the sky, according to September 19, 2014, testimony in Case 59917 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The witness had walked across the street from her home to talk with neighbors about 10:30 p.m. on September 10, 2014, when the object was first noticed.
“I happened to look up at this tree and saw a bright, round-looking light out of nowhere,” the witness stated. “As soon as I seen it, it shot off in a straight path over the top of the neighbor’s house.”
The witness quickly began to yell at the neighbors asking if they had seen the object.
“I ran to the street to see if I could still see it, but it was gone – within 10 seconds. It looked as if it was maybe two feet above her house.” . . .

‘Huge’ UFO Reported Hovering Over Texas Town
A Texas witness at Fairfield reported watching a “very bright, white light” UFO at close range, according to testimony in Case 59342 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The witness was “patrolling on County Road 2570” on her way to County Road 833 at 8:47 p.m. on August 24, 2014, when the object was first seen and thought to be part of a tower. She pulled her vehicle over to the side of the road.
“This huge, very bright object, went up and traveled slowly to my right,” the witness stated. “I then heard this jet-like noise that ended as quickly as it started. I put the truck in gear and went down to County Road 833 and turned around. By this time it was coming back to the spot I had first noticed it.”
The witness again parked her vehicle and while watching the object noticed lights on top of it.
“They went from one side to the other and had a rhythm in its own pace.” . . .

My husband and I live in a rural, wooded area in Chauncey,Ga., about an hour from Macon. This was the summer of 2008.We had just finished watching a movie on t.v., and my husband got up to take the c.d. out of the player. The curtains were open, and he said to me, "What in the world is that?" And I said, "What?" and he said "That bright light, is that a plane?" We rushed outside, and flying very low, almost belowthe power lines were two unknown objects. There was absolutely no sound coming from either one. This was over the farmer's field across the road from us. The one in front was a bright white light. I really couldn't make out any shape. The second one was following the first one in a straight line. It had a long vertical rectangular tail and a square horizontal front section with colored lights on the top tail portion and the front.The first one traveled up the road, then banked off to the right behind houses and trees very quickly, with the second[Unedited]

We were so shocked we both just stood there for a while going "Oh my God, we actually just saw 2 U.F.O.s" I checked all the news on the web to see if there had been any reports in the area, but there hadn't. This is a very religious, small town community where everyone knows everyone, so there probably wouldn't be any reports even if anyone had seen anything. But we know what we saw was no plane. I hope to see one again someday.

I guess some things take a while before you want to divulge information on something like ufos. We've all heard the remarks that anyone saying they've seen a ufo, is a place setting short of a full picnic. Well, so be it.
In the summer of 1980, two friends of mine and I were on a cross-country trip. We started out from Maryland heading to the west coast, camping the entire trip, except for one exception. When we arrived in Wyoming that evening, we had realized that the temperature in the mountains at 12,000 feet, was coming on strong so we pulled over in a magnificent parking look-out. This would give us the perfect opportunity to bundle up and have a quick sandwich before arriving a our next destination, Cody, Wyoming.
From here, the view of the valley between the Big Horns was breathtaking, to say the least. Dusk nearly over, turned into a crisp clear night sky. Being from the east coast, you just can't be anything but overwhelmed, with the amount of stars you can see from this altitude.
Just as we are looking at the sky telling other how amazing, literally pointing out constellations, etc., we notice a bright light far in the horizon, moving very strangely across the sky in front of us. It was sort of like the motion of a squid, forward and stopping, forward and stopping. This went on for just a minute or so.
At that moment, our trip out west, would stay etched in my mind for twenty-nine years. Just all three of us are raising our arms, talking about this object that is about two or three times the size of any stars around, it stops at what appears to us now at eye level in the distance.
All of a sudden the horizon lights up as bright as magnesium paper they used to burn in science class. I mean so bright that you could barely look at very long. That didn't make any difference, because just as my brain was trying to comprehend the glowing disc shape within the bright light, there was a sizzling sound and the thing turned more orange now than white.
It almost felt electrical for a moment. The object shot off, away from us at a speed that I can only describe as follows. It was like seeing something as large as a 747, then a piper cub, and then a soccer ball. Just disappearing before you could even say any obscenity you want. Fantastic!!! Like watching a flaming arrow vanish into the stars at about a 45 degree angle. If you could have seen our faces; unfortunately, long before the technology we have today, none of us was prepared with any visual aids. I would like to say at this point, that I would be prepared to testify about anything I've stated thus far. There's more to tell but that's enough for now.

Unidentified flying objects were spotted over suburban New Jersey Monday night — but local cops aren't too worried about little green men.1-7-09
"We didn't really know what they were. They were bright, red lights," Whippany resident Paul Hurley, a pilot who works at nearby Morristown Airport, told MyFoxNY TV. "They were just kind of floating along."
What Hurley, his family and dozens of others in Morris County saw were five flickering red lights, one as a pair and the other as a trio, moving across the sky.
"I've been in the aviation industry about 20 years, so I knew they weren't airplanes," added Hurley, who captured video footage of the strange lights.
"It was unsettling for sure," his wife Cindy Hurley told WCBS-TV. "It was something you've never seen before, and a very strange pattern."
The authorities, however, have a pretty good idea of what the UFOs might have been.
"We are reasonably certain, from what we were able to observe," Morristown Police Lt. James Cullen told the Bergen Record, "that they were red flares attached to a balloon."

Marcel Gobeil, who lives on a farm just west of Beaumont, was sitting in his living room when he heard what he describes as a "loud boom," followed by the sight of bright colourful lights just before 5:30 p.m.
"At first I thought it was fireworks," said Gobeil. "I've never seen anything like it; it was green and blue and then turned to bright red.
"It was pretty big."
Gobeil said he also saw the object hit the ground about 10 seconds later.
"It seemed like it fell on Beaumont, but it's more likely it landed in Manitoba or Saskatchewan if it was a meteorite," he said.
Edmonton fire dispatchers, meanwhile, said they contacted both the international and municipal airports after reports of the bright lights to see if an airplane had gone down. They still have no idea what the object was.
"Everyone seems to have seen something," one dispatcher said, "but we have no call on it."

This sighting occurred while I was acting as Captain during a routine [type of flight deleted] flight in a [type of a/c deleted] from OAK (Oakland, CA) to BUR (Burbank, CA). We had leveled-off at FL210 and were cruising just south of Manteca VOR (a navigational aid near the city of Manteca, CA).NUFORC

Traffic at this time of night is usually very light and quite easy to spot at ranges exceeding 50 miles. ATC (Oakland Center) routinely advises us of traffic in our area.
While on a mostly southern heading, I noticed a somewhat unusually colored light off to my nine-o-clock position (east of us). It appeared to be close to our altitude, but many miles distant (over the foothills of the Sierra mountain range). Normally, lights seen at that altitude and distance appear to be of a clear white color. Usually the recognition or landing lights of another aircraft descending into the Bay Area for landing. This light was exceptionally bright and very yellow in color.
I pointed it out to my First Officer, in passing. He also remarked on how bright it was. I'd seen unusual lights like this one before - both out over the ocean and on descent into the Bay Area over Concord, CA. They'd always turned out to be oil refineries/rigs burning off gas. This light did not flicker as those had.
As we continued our flight to BUR, we'd occasionally look out to the left to watch the light - which, over time grew both larger and brighter.
After about five minutes of observing the light, it began to take a definite shape and seemed to be paralleling our course. The top portion of the light was semispherical, and the bottom portion formed a clear "V" shape coming to a point at the base. Over time, this "V" shape with a pointed-bottom became larger-and-larger.
Our curiosity piqued, I asked my F/O to call Oakland Center and ask if they had any traffic on their radar at our nine-o-clock, same altitude. They replied saying that the only traffic in our vicinity was an opposite direction King Air descending out of 13,000 feet (which both I and my F/O already had in sight). No traffic at our nine-o-clock was seen on radar.
We continued to watch this bright yellow light grow in size over the next ten minutes, until it filled about a four-inch square through the window on my side. It was impossible to accurately gauge our distance to the object, or its true size, since we didn't have any other visible references againstwith to judge it.
Anecdotally, all I can say is that it was both LARGE and of a VERY unusual shape and color. Other aircraft lights (while flying at night) uniformly appear to be circular points of light, and are all in standard colors (red, green, white or white strobe). The light we saw did NOT appear to be a light ON an aircraft - the light appeared to be the entire outline of some sort of aircraft.
As I said before, the light appeared to be paralleling our course and coming closer (i.e., remaining in the same relative position even though we were moving south at around 300 knots over the ground, yet getting larger). Please take that observation with a grain of salt though. Without being close enough to see details on the craft or compare it against a ground reference - it could just as easily be something very large seen at a great distance. Things observed at a large distance do not appear to have any relative motion.
We continued to watch the light until it appeared to take a northern course away from us at great speed (both decreasing in brightness and size, without changing ltitude).
Both my F/O and I have 5,000+ hours of experience - most of which was gained under similar circumstances (at night, over California routes). and we were both flabbergasted by what we saw. We both admitted it made the hair on our neck stand up. To be honest, I was spooked by the experience, but have chosen to not bring it up with our airline or the FAA out of concern for being judged a nut-job.
I'm not saying the things we saw were of extraterrestrial origin - but I am saying we saw something that (in both of our professional opinions) was nothing like any other aircraft we've ever experienced in our careers.
