Aliens on Ceres? NASA Welcomes Public Speculation
That bright mysterious spot on Ceres is still a mystery. And, although the source of this illuminated area has already been the subject of much speculation, NASA is now requesting public supposition.
NASA’s Dawn spacecraft is in orbit around Ceres, the dwarf planet in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter, which happens to be the largest body in that asteroid belt. Before entering orbit, Dawn photographed the planet, and those captured images reveal the strange illuminated area, which is actually composed of two bright spots within the same basin on the surface.
Speculation about the source of these unusual lights began immediately after Dawn’s photos were published by NASA. Puzzled scientists suggested a volcano, or light reflections off ice or water vapor as possible explanations. And others offered up the possibility that this illuminated region could be an extraterrestrial civilization.
The predictions continue to swirl. And, until Dawn can gather more data, NASA wants to know what you think is responsible for Ceres’ bright spot. . . .

UFO Filmed Near Chile’s Erupting Volcano | VIDEO
A woman recently posted a video showing a UFO hovering near Chile’s erupting Calbuco volcano.
The volcano erupted on Wednesday, April 22 for the first time in more than forty two years. Four thousand residents were forced to evacuate the area as ash and smoke filled the sky.
Ana Luisa Cid, a UFO researcher in Mexico City, put together a compilation of volcano eruption videos that show the aerial object seemingly hovering near the Calbuco volcano. And this UFO appears to have two very bright white lights. . . .

Skeptic Group Offers $100,000 for Proof of Paranormal
A skeptical paranormal investigation group offers $100,000 to anyone who can prove that they’ve been aboard a UFO.
The Independent Investigations Group (IIG) is a volunteer organization that is part of the Center for Inquiry in Los Angeles, California, which was founded by James Underdown.
He explains to media outlet Times LIVE, “I live in LA, which is crammed with people with New Age ideas – water dousers, psychics, healers, clairvoyants, past-life regressors.” He continues, “It got to the point at which, instead of arguing, I thought: ‘All this stuff is testable by science’. So I started a centre for inquiry.”
The IIG launched its IIG Challenge several years ago. This challenge calls on people who make extraordinary claims about paranormal abilities or experiences to demonstrate his or her evidence for the group of investigators to scientifically observe. . . .

Drone captures fast-flying UFO over California’s Silicon Valley

A drone flying near California’s Silicon Valley captured video of a UFO shooting across the sky at incredible speed.
It’s unclear when the video was recorded. But the operator of the DJI Inspire 1 drone uploaded the four second UFO video to the video sharing site Vimeo on the night of Thursday, March 5. The drone was reportedly flying at an altitude of 265 feet when the unidentified aerial object whizzed through the sky.
The DJI Inspire 1 drone is equipped with a 4K camera. And, fortunately, the drone operator uploaded the video in its full 4K quality. But, despite the video’s 4K resolution, little detail is visible because the UFO moves so rapidly. . . .

UFO Video Taped from Passenger Plane?
An airline passenger allegedly recorded video of a UFO through the plane’s window.
The plane and the UFO were reportedly flying over Liverpool, England. The roughly two-minute video shows the mysterious bright UFO in the clouds, flying along the same trajectory as the plane. Although the UFO initially looks like an ordinary aircraft in the distance, it later makes an incredibly sudden descent.
The speed at which the object changes its flight path and descends rules out known aircraft. Some believe the object is simply a bird. But birds generally don’t fly 400 m.p.h. like a commercial airliner. . . .

UFO Over Lima, Halts Television Production | VIDEO
Filming for the television show Alto al Crimen in the Miraflores district of Lima, Peru was interrupted when the production team noticed a UFO hovering in the sky.
The sighting occurred on the morning of Tuesday, February 10, and was reportedly witnessed by several members of the production crew, including the show’s host, Renzo Reggiardo, a Peruvian congressman.
Peru This Week describes, “Reggiardo had just begun filming for his program Alto al Crimen when his camera man got distracted by something floating in the distant sky. They postponed filming a few moments to take a better look at the floating object.”
Witnesses were bewildered by the strange aerial object. They managed to record video of the UFO with cameras and cell phones.

Volcano Cam Captures UFO During Eruption | VIDEO

A video shows a bizarre horse-shaped UFO near an erupting volcano in Mexico.
The Colima volcano in Mexico, located approximately 300 miles west of Mexico City, has erupted several times in recent weeks. These incredible eruptions have been captured on video by a webcam hosted by Webcams de Mexico.
According to the Daily Mail, a horse-shaped UFO appears in one of these videos. “The dark object appeared to have two legs and was seen hovering into view out of nowhere,” the media outlet describes. It continues, “The enigmatic ‘equine’ vanished moments later.”

UFOs Flirting with Helicopter Over Rendlesham Forest | VIDEO

A video shows multiple mysterious flashing balls of light in the sky.
The witness, George Taylor, filmed this event that reportedly took place over Rendlesham Forest in Suffolk, England on the afternoon of Sunday, January 26. The video also shows a military helicopter in flight, seemingly inspecting the UFOs.
Taylor uploaded his video to YouTube on January 26 with the following description:
Spotted three balls of light in the sky yesterday afternoon (Sunday 25th Jan) whilst walking around Rendlesham Forest and couldn’t believe what I was seeing! Had a very weird feeling that I shouldn’t have been there.
Quickly recorded it on the phone and have uploaded it to see whether anyone else witnessed anything similar yesterday too. Very strange! I know Rendlesham has a long history with UFO sightings but didn’t really believe in it as I haven’t seen anything odd in all the years I’ve lived here until yesterday! Regularly take my dogs for a walk around the area and have never seen anything as strange as this. Anyone have any idea what this may have been?

Did UFOs Cause ‘Angel Hair’ To Fall From The Sky? | VIDEO
Witnesses in Portugal were left perplexed as they watched “angel hair” fall from the sky.
These strange wispy strands descended from the sky during a late October afternoon. According to witnesses, the phenomenon was observed during two consecutive weekends.
According to UK media outlet Metro, a witness claims:
Me and a couple of friends sent [the angel hair] to be analysed – and the weirdest things happened. It reacts to UV light. It comes alive.Instances of this angel hair falling from the sky have been reported around the world. But studying the material has proven difficult. As the Metro points out, “The samples often evaporate before they can be properly analysed.”
However, material was collected from an angel hair incident in Italy in 1954. Spectrographic analysis revealed that the sample contained boron, silicon, calcium, and magnesium. But, aside from its composition, researchers were unable to determine what it was. . . .

UFO Over Northern California Leaves Witnesses, Experts Perplexed | VIDEO
A UFO appeared in the skies above northern California in the early morning of Friday, September 12.
At least thirty witnesses in the bay area watched the strange object streak across the sky at approximately 6:00 a.m. Some describe the object as a white light, while others say it was orange. But the light was seen with “fog or smoke billowing out” behind it. Among the witnesses is a police officer from Sacramento. . . .

UFO Triangle Photographed in Texas | PHOTO
Witnesses photographed a triangle shaped UFO in the sky above Amarillo, Texas on Monday, March 10.
Defense technology blog Ares on the Aviation Week website explains that the craft was photographed by both Steve Douglass and Dean Muskett. This mysterious object was reportedly accompanied by two other craft. According to Aviation Week‘s defense expert Bill Sweetman, Douglass, who monitors aircraft radio communication, picked up some apparently related voice traffic, suggesting that the unidentifiable aircraft were piloted rather than remote-controlled.
Sweetman believes the photographed UFO is likely a classified military plane. He explains,
"The photos tell us more about what the mysterious stranger isn’t than what it is. The size is very hard to determine, for example, although the image size at contrailing height suggests that it is bigger than an X-47B. However, the basic shape – while it resembles Boeing’s Blended Wing Body studies or the Swift Killer Bee/Northrop Grumman Bat unmanned air system – is different from anything known to have flown at full size, lacking the notched trailing edge of Northrop Grumman’s full-size designs." . . .

Witnesses Capture UFO on Video in Rome
Two men observed a pair of bright UFOs in the sky above Rome, Italy just before 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 8.
The bright and silent objects were observed by a man who was taking out the trash. He quickly informed his friend about the UFOs, and the two men began recording the objects on video. One of the UFOs on video is shown making sudden stops and irregular movements. The men reported the sightings to the Mediterranean UFO Centre (CUFOM), but only after ruling out other possibilities first. One of the witnesses is described as a “keen observer of the skies,” and he reportedly eliminated mundane identifications like airplanes and Chinese lanterns. . . .

UFO Exploration Continued By Discovery Communications | VIDEO
The American-based mass media company Discovery Communications continues to flood the market with UFO-related programming on television.
On Sunday, December 15, Discovery’s Animal Planet premiered an episode of a new show titled Uncovering Aliens. In the episode, the show’s team of investigators go to Sedona, Arizona to explore claims of UFO sightings and a possible government cover-up.
In August 2013, Discovery picked up the show Unsealed: Alien Files and added it to the company’s Destination America channel with an aggressive schedule of forty new episodes.
Another show on Destination America titled Monsters and Mysteries in America also features stories of UFOs and extraterrestrial encounters. . . .

(Yet Another) New UFO Show Set to Premiere | VIDEO
A new television show about UFOs and extraterrestrial encounters will premiere on Discovery Canada in January.
Aside from the publicity trailer (posted above), little information has been released about this series titled Close Encounters. Newroad Media, the production company behind the show, describes:

Most of these incidents can be easily explained away. But a select few cannot. These are the Close Encounters. Close Encounters is a drama doc series steeped in suspense and mystery. Military magazine highlights Iranian air force encounters with UFOs

The Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force (IRIAF) has reportedly used F-14A Tomcats to intercept UFOs for decades.
An article in the October 2013 issue of the military aviation magazine Combat Aircraft Monthly details the history of the Tomcat aircraft in the IRIAF. Near the end of the article, a section titled “UFO hunters” describes that F-14s have been used by the air force during the last twenty years to “intercept foreign and unknown aircraft.”
The article explains that, when Iran’s nuclear program was revealed, the U.S. used unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to gather reconnaissance from nuclear facilities in the fall of 2004. IRIAF reportedly had four F-4 and four F-14 interceptors standing by, twenty-four hours a day, because of this UAV presence. Other F-4s and F-14s were kept on alert, and some were even flown every night to monitor the area’s airspace. But some of the unidentified craft they encountered were anything but ordinary.
UFOs were spotted multiple times by both ground radar and airborne radar. According to Combat Aircraft Monthly, Iranian sources described that the UFOs “displayed astonishing flight characteristics, including an ability to fly outside the atmosphere, attain a maximum cruise speed of Mach 10, and a minimum speed of zero, with the ability to hover over the target.” These craft also reportedly emitted high levels of magnetic energy that disrupted navigation systems and jammed radars. . . .

Based on the newly discovered information the show re-examines key evidence and follows developing leads.”
A companion show, Unsealed: Conspiracy Files, will air immediately following Unsealed: Alien Files.
These shows will feature several “experts” including Jim Penniston, John Burroughs, Jason Martell, John Greenewald, Jr., and Lee Speigel.
