UFOs Recorded Over Honolulu? | Video

By Lee Speigel The Huffington Post 11-30-15

Almost every day, new UFO images and videos are posted all over the Internet for everyone to see. Here's one that, at first glance, may have you believing a fleet of otherworldly orbs were captured on video, maneuvering in wild patterns somewhere near Honolulu, Hawaii.

At least that's what it looks like in the following video, posted on Oct. 21, 2015, by YouTube channel Earth & Space News. The UFOs -- for lack of a better word at the moment -- are seen hovering, moving rapidly, darting back and forth, merging with each other, blinking in and out in unison. That's more than you normally get in a UFO video.

While this may appear to be incredible footage of strange lights in the sky, there are some credibility questions here. [...]

UFO Video Taped from Passenger Plane?

An airline passenger allegedly recorded video of a UFO through the plane’s window.

The plane and the UFO were reportedly flying over Liverpool, England. The roughly two-minute video shows the mysterious bright UFO in the clouds, flying along the same trajectory as the plane. Although the UFO initially looks like an ordinary aircraft in the distance, it later makes an incredibly sudden descent.

The speed at which the object changes its flight path and descends rules out known aircraft. Some believe the object is simply a bird. But birds generally don’t fly 400 m.p.h. like a commercial airliner. . . .

UFOs Flirting with Helicopter Over Rendlesham Forest | VIDEO

By Jason McClellan

A video shows multiple mysterious flashing balls of light in the sky.

The witness, George Taylor, filmed this event that reportedly took place over Rendlesham Forest in Suffolk, England on the afternoon of Sunday, January 26. The video also shows a military helicopter in flight, seemingly inspecting the UFOs.

Taylor uploaded his video to YouTube on January 26 with the following description:

Spotted three balls of light in the sky yesterday afternoon (Sunday 25th Jan) whilst walking around Rendlesham Forest and couldn’t believe what I was seeing! Had a very weird feeling that I shouldn’t have been there.

Quickly recorded it on the phone and have uploaded it to see whether anyone else witnessed anything similar yesterday too. Very strange! I know Rendlesham has a long history with UFO sightings but didn’t really believe in it as I haven’t seen anything odd in all the years I’ve lived here until yesterday! Regularly take my dogs for a walk around the area and have never seen anything as strange as this. Anyone have any idea what this may have been?

Glowing UFOs Perform Odd Maneuvers | VIDEO

By Lee Speigel The Huffington Post 1-17-15

This video will finally make you believe -- that video editing software has come a long way.

There are a slew of inconsistencies in this UFO video, reportedly shot in Massachusetts. It's unclear exactly when, where and by whom it was created. Shortly after the original video was posted, it was removed from YouTube "due to a copyright claim by Die Hoaxer."

It all started with a YouTuber named Bobby Johnson, who wrote on his page that he videotaped UFOs from a rooftop in western Massachusetts. It shows a large, circular glowing orb hovering above street lights, homes and traffic. . . .

. . . If this is a video of an actual occurrence in the air, it's also a bit odd that the videographer himself doesn't seem excited in the least at what he supposedly is capturing on tape.

Further convoluting the whole issue is that earlier on Thursday, a YouTube video appeared, posted by someone named HOAXKiller1, outlining in detail why the UFO video is a complete fabrication. As the day progressed, HOAXKiller1's video was removed from YouTube, with the following message: "This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by richard simmons."

We're already tired of these orbs. . . .

. . .This hoax has been confirmed. It turns out they animated some fake UFOs onto a photograph, and then displayed it onto a computer screen or TV, and used a video camera to record the screen. You can see the pixels of the screen when they zoom in.

This 'recording a computer monitor: method is used by amateur hoaxers who don't want to get caught by people like me (but still fail). Its a method used often. . . .

"The Road to UFO Credibility is Filled with Detours" | Video

Mysterious Glowing Orb Emerges From Crashing UFO (At Least On YouTube)

By Lee Speigel The Huffington Post 1-9-15

A very unusual UFO video has appeared on YouTube. It looks like a fireball -- an exceptionally large, bright meteor, or space debris -- blazing through the night sky, leaving a long, brilliant trail behind it.

As the following video shows, a mysterious circular orb appears to eject from the main object. But the orb doesn't travel the same downward path of the meteor -- rather, it appears to almost deliberately fly off in the opposite direction.

Unfortunately, it has all the telltale signs of being a hoax. Key details were missing. The person who posted the video refused to comment on it, and a video analyst who spoke with the Huffington Post believes that at least part of the recording may have been doctored. . . .

. . . The videographer, Ken Roberts, posted the incident to YouTube on Jan. 5 with the following description:

"I was driving home after work when this UFO or whatever you call it caught my eye. I pulled over in front of somebody's house to film it. I would have got a better shot but I didn't want to jump these peoples fence. Anyway I don't know what the hell to make of it. Couldn't have been a plane cause there was no noise. And I never heard a crash after either. The Orb thing flew straight up into the sky and disappeared. Sorry I didn't film that. I didn't know what to focus my attention on."

Except for that short narrative, Roberts casually mentions the incident happened in Southern California.

When we asked Roberts if he could simply provide us with the exact location, date and time of the event, he declined, telling us, "No thanks. I've had enough of this already."

The road to UFO credibility is often filled with detours. This is such a case. . . .

Phoenix Lights UFO: Watch incredible classified footage of US fighter jets 'engaging unknown aircraft'

By Chris Richards

The video obtained by investigate journalist David Collins shows military aircraft in the skies above Arizona on the night of one of the world's most famous UFO sightings in March 1997

This incredible leaked classified video shows fighter jets "engaging unknown aircraft" in the skies above the southern US on the night of one of the world's most famous UFO sightings.

The 14-second clip, posted on YouTube, shows American military aircraft on patrol during the Phoenix Lights sighting of March 13, 1997 when a series of lights were spotted above Arizona's state capital.

The military footage was obtained exclusively by US investigative journalist David Collins, of Phoenix-based KWBV Investigations, who later alerted Mirror Online. . . .

We have been sent information that supports the movie viral campaign theory. One story comes from a reader who says he saw a trailed for the movie that was online for a short period of time and then taken down. Another comes from Dr. Lynne Kitei, who runs the website ThePhoenixLights.net and has made a documentary on the subject. She was a witness herself. She says that a group making a movie about the Phoenix Lights approached her asking if she would like to be involved. She said she declined.

She says the movie being about aliens battling the US Military is in stark contrast to the data, which indicates that the Phoenix Lights Events were benevolent. She stated that,”there has not been one report of harm, threat or abduction associated with the 1997 AZ mass sighting in over 17 years,” adding that this new video and website may be a PR ploy by those movie makers.

Perhaps the best tip was from another reader who says they recognized Collins as being an actor in an episode of Seinfeld. They said it was the guy who sold the Karl Farbman furniture. Being avid Seinfeld watchers, we at OpenMinds.tv immediately recognized the episode, and sure enough, it does appear to be the same actor. His name is James Patrick Stuart. You can read more about him on IMDB.

It looks like the Seinfeld Farbman sales guy is the same actor who is now portraying David Collins. Interestingly, when The Black Vault posted our story about this video, The Black Vault’s founder, John Greenewald, also labeled it a hoax. He says he received an email alleging to be from Collins, who was disappointed that Greenewald would label his video a hoax. Greenewald responded that he would be more than happy to post a retort from Collins, but has not yet received a response to this offer.

'Classified' UFO Video Released By Fake News Channel

By Alejandro Rojas openminds.tv 12-2-14

A new video (seen above) has been posted by KWBV News 6 in Phoenix that alleges to be leaked classified footage of what looks like a dog fight between jets and UFOs. The video purports to be from the same day and in the same area as a famous mass UFO sighting in Phoenix in March of 1997. The problem is there is no KWBV News 6 in Phoenix.

Actually, the problems with the credibility of the video do not stop with the fake news channel. The video was posted on a YouTube channel using the name David Collins. The KWBV news website claims “David Collins is an investigative journalist, living in Phoenix, Arizona. David was embedded with coalition forces in the Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn, and has covered human interest stories since 1989.”

However, there doesn’t seem to really be a journalist named David Collins as described. Furthermore, although Collins appears to be the only journalist writing for KWBV, his stories are all about him and written in the third person.

Other stories on the site include cattle mutilations and a missing persons case from March, 1997. The same month as the Phoenix Lights UFO incident. There are also stories about the “longest running missing person’s case,” and “the most infamous killer in Arizona State history.” Neither the missing persons case nor the killer appear to be real.

One of the stories references another news channel, KUDP, which also does not exist, and doesn’t even have a fake news website like KWBV.

Frank Warren, who runs the website UFO Chronicles, says he found that the website was created earlier this year, even though some stories are back dated to 1997.

So why go to all the trouble making the fake websites and videos? Clues to that answer may be found in yet another fake website called American Crimes. This website is for an alleged television show that will be hosted by Collins. In a video posted in July on his YouTube page, Collins describes the first episode of the series. The outline of the show may be telling. . . .
