“I heard what sounded like an airplane about to crash or flying super low,” the witness stated.“We rushed to the bedroom window and saw a huge triangle-shaped aircraft flying about 100 feet above the house.”
The witness and his wife moved outside.
“We watched it flying slowly and still very low. It seemed to have vanished in the tree line, but then came back out like it was looking for something. We saw red, blue, and white lights on a huge black triangle-shaped craft. We stood in the driveway and watched it as it left our sight. Every animal in the neighborhood was going crazy and just like that, it was gone.”

“I notice one light up in the sky and it was way, way too big to be a star,” Mr Mathiot said.
“I went to get my partner’s phone, and started taking pictures of it and all of a sudden there was another two lights, and it was in the shape of a triangle, with a big light up the front and another two lights up the back.”
Mr Mathiot, 21, took several photos of the aircraft as it hovered in the same place for about half an hour before it disappeared.
“It was zipping around like no plane or drone we’ve ever seen,” he said.
“The lights were about two centimetres apart in the sky.
“It had to be a massive object. ...

Close Encounter with Triangle UFO

“At first I saw it coming,” the witness stated.“It was traveling slowly. It was not that high up in the air and it was an unusual constellation of lights so a grab my iPhone and I thought I should take a picture of whatever it is. And then it got closer and I got closer. We were converging right over Interstate 90.”
The witness first thought the object was something that could be identified.
“As it got closer and closer I thought it might be a group of helicopters. But they were in too tight of a cluster. I saw a constellation of lights that were in an abstract sort of triangular form. As the craft got closer, I kept looking up and I saw that there was a slightly lighter color to the body than the dark sky.”
The witness described the lighting on the objects.
“There were lights on all three corners and in between the corners with a dazzling white very, very white, bright, bright light. On the bottom there was a flashing red light. At least one. Maybe they were alternating from different positions on the bottom.”
The craft was traveling very slow and low to the ground.
“The craft was traveling very slowly. It was probably four to six telephone poles off of the ground. Not regular telephone poles, but the kind of tall ones that are along the interstate. If this craft was indeed triangular, it appeared to be traveling backwards away from the point.”
There was an aspect of this triangular pattern that was hard for the witness to comprehend.
“The lights seemed to be pointing toward me, not so much at me, but so bright that it looked like they were pointed at me, although it was not pointed at me at all. That’s how dazzling the lights were.”
As the object moved overhead, the witness thought there was structure to the object.
“As the craft approached the highway before it crossed over me, I thought it could be a structure, a linear structure like I-beams or something that have lights along it and it was not a flat triangle. It appeared to have a flat aspect, but the front seemed to be folded a little making it like two long, skinny triangles, but only in the front.” [...]

UFO Spotted Hovering Over Quarry
A Tennessee witness at Nolensville reported watching a triangle-shaped UFO hovering over a nearby quarry about 7:30 p.m. on January 19, 2016, according to testimony in Case 73987 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The witness was driving home and noticed what at first was thought to be a helicopter with search lights over a quarry.
“The low stationary lights over the quarry is what I noticed,” the witness stated,“and then the triangular light pattern on the bottom as I passed by it.”
The witness also wondered if the object might be a plane.
“The lights initially made me believe it might be a plane as there are flight paths here. But this was very low for a plane, and when I saw it wasn’t moving, I pulled off the road to see what it was.”
The witness noticed that the object was in a hovering position.
“The object was initially stationary over a small rock quarry. It then started to move in a northeast direction, not very quickly. It was moving at a very slow pace for an aircraft. The craft was just above the tree line and electrical lines.”

In pwhelli in North Wales uk 1979. This was sighted at 11.30 pm at buttlins holiday camp. West of North Wales. Triangle shape, craft, no noise from it. Approx height about 300ft above blocked out the stars, trajectory north going south. Had one dim light on middle of the top of UFO. A lot of sightings were happening at that time in West Wales in the now famous Welsh triangle.

Police Officers Report Triangular-Shaped UFOs
An Ohio police officer at Campbell reported “several green lights” that could not be identified about 7:50 p.m. on November 3, 2015, according to testimony in Case 72154 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
“While working in the capacity of a police officer, myself (Detective Sergeant) and two other officers (both K-9 officers) witnessed several bright green lights in the sky,” the witness stated.“While standing on Wilson Avenue and Snyder on the boarder of Campbell and Struthers, Ohio, witnesses observed two triangular-shaped objects in the northwest sky.”
Witness B was the first to notice them and advised the other two witnesses.
“All looked to the northwestern sky to see two seemingly equilateral triangular-shaped objects with lights at each angle. The lights appeared to be an unwavering bright lime-green, with one light forward and the other two in the rear. Due to the limited amount of stars in the night sky, witnesses were unable to determine at this time if the objects were solid or not.”
The witness described the objects as another object approached.
“The two triangular objects were traveling at a very low speed from northeast to southwest. The two objects were also traveling very close together. At this time the two objects had crossed over the Wilson Avenue reference point when witnesses observed a single, lime-green in color, orb-like object following the same flight path, but seemingly lower than the other two.”
The objects continued to be tracked by the witnesses.
“At this time the two triangular-shaped objects further crossed the Mahoning River reference point, and began to spread out. The lead tip light stayed slightly ahead while the two rear lights moved up and further apart, causing an almost straight-line appearance. The lone orb-light object still trailed in the same flight path and slow speed.”
As the object flew farther away, the witnesses retrieved a pair of binoculars to view the objects.
“All that could be observed were the lime-green lights, no structure or other characteristics. The objects were observed in the same almost straight-line pattern until they traveled so far that they could not be viewed with the binoculars.” [...]

'UFO' Photographed Flying Over Toowoomba Region
AN object the photographer believes to be a UFO was spotted flying over Oakey at 6.30am this morning.
FieldQuip employee Greg Young decided to capture the beauty of the sunrise by taking a photo and it wasn't until he zoomed in on his iphone that he noticed the strange object.
Mr Young said he looked back up at the sky and noticed the triangular object flying through the clouds followed by a dark blue trail.
"It was all a bit weird because a few moments earlier me and my co-worker saw some bright flashing lights from the East and we couldn't work out what they were," Mr Young said.
"Then we saw this thing and it just made for a really odd morning. . . .

Witness Loses Time After Triangle UFO Encounter

A Missouri witness at Union reported a two-hour time loss after watching a triangle-shaped UFO hovering below the clouds, according to testimony in Case 64426 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The witness was at home cleaning rain gutters about 8:10 p.m. on March 24, 2015, when the incident began.
“I stood on the porch to see if the water was going through the gutter and down the drain,” the witness stated. “I then heard what I thought was a jet or something to that effect. I thought it was kind of odd with the weather that was going on.”
The witness stepped off the porch and looked up in the sky and saw the object.
“I wasn’t for sure what I was looking at. It was a black, triangular-shaped craft with a gray triangular shape on the underside with three red pulsating lights on each corner. It was hovering just below the cloud cover.”
During the first minute of the sighting, the witness saw “pulsating white lights” coming from the object.
“I’m not sure how long this went on for I remember nothing after seeing the lights. All I remember is going in the house and looking at the clock and saying to my wife; it’s 10:30 p.m.”
The loss of time is upsetting to the witness.
“This has been weighing on my mind for over a week with what had happened and not knowing what happened to me in the two-hour difference and not knowing who to tell my story to. I am still in shock – scared – over this. I do not have any pictures or video of this occurrence for it was something I was not expecting and it all happened so fast.” . . .

When it comes to The Great Taboo, everyone’s got an angle. Few are as unique as David Marler’s specialization bonanza — Triangular UFOs: An Estimate of the Situation — which came out in 2013. Relentlessly, perhaps obsessively, informed, Marler’s profile of the triangles is remarkable for its historical depth as well as its dogged and exhaustively-sourced quest for baseline details. In fact, it may be the most cogent and challenging account of the ongoing mystery since Leslie Kean’s UFOs: Generals, Pilots and Government Officials Go On the Record
became a New York Times bestseller in 2010.Initially intrigued by the 1989-91 Belgian UFO wave, Marler plunged headlong into the controversy following the southern Illinois sightings of Jan. 5, 2000, which became famous for, among other things, igniting befuddled radio chatter among multiple police departments (see below). His family also has a riveting personal back story that no doubt greased the skids for his curiosity. Anyhow, last weekend at a Florida MUFON meeting in Valrico, Marler made his pitch for a centralized and accessible digital database. As he informed nearly 70 listeners, those who suspect classified military technology is the culprit may be in for an ice bath. Marler states the first documented discussion of observable triangles appears in — wait for it — an 1882 edition of Scientific American. More than a century ago, astronomers claimed to have detected “triangular luminous appearances” traversing the glow of the moon. Marler fleshes out additional 19th century references, as well as 20th-century triangle encounters observed generations before stealth designs were factored into the U.S. arsenal.
Almost as amazing as the voluminous compendium of incidents is the mind’s-eye image of Marler — or practically anybody, actually — sifting through reams of ancient newspaper, magazine, and journal articles to stitch these narrative threads together. But here it is:
An International News Service piece about 300 West Berliners reporting triangles above the divided city in 1953; Texas sheriff’s deputies reconstructing a highway game of cat-and-mouse for the Houston Chronicle in 1965; law enforcement agents relating tales of a “pyramidal UFO” to the Memphis Press-Scimitar in 1977; multiple witnesses, including a named FAA air traffic controller, detailing for California’s Auburn Journal how a delta-shaped object followed a major freeway in 1978; “hundreds of residents” from Kansas to Missouri witnessing a triangle event in 1980 and chronicled in Missouri’s Express & News daily; Fort Worth’s Cross Country News recording how “hundreds of sightings” of triangle-shaped objects erupted across Florida, Georgia, Ohio and Michigan during two days in 1975 — this stuff goes on and on and on.In short, said Marler, who began to have suspicions about military candor during his formal requests for radar data on the 1/5/2000 Illinois case, in reviewing more than a hundred years' worth of reports, “We don’t see an evolution in the technology of triangular UFOs . . . We’re dealing with a tangible phenomenon that’s been around for a long time.”
The licensed hypnotherapist offered some broad characteristics about triangle-class UFOs:
The overwhelming majority are nocturnal and silent. Landing cases are virtually non-existent. More often than not, they're seen cruising speeds at below-radar altitudes, but they can rapidly accelerate. The suckers are large, averaging 200-300 feet in length. They can hover and make sideways right-angle turns without banking. They can move in non-aerodynamic fashion, broad edges forward, tapered edges aft. Superstructures are sometimes observed, as well as shape-shifting properties. In fact, according to unfiltered National UFO Reporting Center surveys, categorically speaking, triangles trail only “lights” in eyewitness volume. In a 2012 listing of configurations, in fact, flying-saucer discs don't even rate a bronze.“What we need,” Marler said in an appeal for more volunteer investigators, “are more bodies in the field” to gather data. After all, say MUFON officials, a revolution in optical technology with the potential to generate mountains of evidence is right around the corner. More later on that.

Retired Police Officer Reports Boomerang-Shaped UFO

A retired police officer reported watching a low flying boomerang-shaped UFO that moved over Daubenberger Road in Turlock, CA, about 7 p.m. on January 24, 2015, according to testimony in Case 62855 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The witness and his wife were driving home at the time of the incident.
“It is foggy tonight, but saw three white lights in a backwards triangle, possibly a boomerang shape,” the witness stated. “Difficult to see in the fog/haze layer, about 100-200 feet above my truck moving slowly at first, then speeding up and quickly disappearing into the fog.”
The witness said the object was heading northbound over houses going towards a cornfield north of Tuolumne Road.
“No sound. My wife was riding in the passenger seat, but was looking down at her phone when I pointed it out. She did not see it before it disappeared into the fog/haze bank.”
The witness provided his professional background.
“I am a retired police officer and veteran USAF aircraft crew chief and veteran Army intelligence. It did not appear to look like any aircraft I am familiar with. It was very strange.”

Triangle UFO Spotted Hovering Over Maryland’s I-95

Two Maryland witnesses driving northbound along I-95 near the Ellicott City ramp reported watching a triangle-shaped UFO that moved directly overhead and hovered over nearby trees, according to testimony in Case 62426 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The reporting witness was driving on a return trip to Pennsylvania with his mother as a front seat passenger at approximately 3:55 a.m. on December 29, 2014, when the object was first seen.
“I noticed a large, bright light glide over Interstate 95, almost directly over our car, just enough to get my attention,” the witness stated. “I was driving about 70 mph and pressed my face against the front windshield to get a better look at it.”
The witness described the object.
“To my amazement, I saw a triangle craft with two oval lights on the back corners of the craft and a large red light in the center. I could also make out a very dark point on the craft which I thought to be the front of it, or the tip of the triangle.”
The object then stopped and hovered over a group of trees. . . .

Triangle UFO Hovers Over Alabama Bridge

An Alabama witness driving along I-459 at the Morgan Road exit near Hoover reported watching a black triangle UFO hovering over a bridge, according to testimony in Case 61566 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The witness was driving toward Hoover at 5:55 p.m. on November 19, 2014, and had just passed the Morgan Road exit when the object was first seen.
“I see what looks like a small, two-seat airplane,” the witness stated. “I say that because it was low – tree tops – and was moving across the sky going to my right. It was not going too fast. The Bessemer airport is about 5-10 miles from where I was.”
But then the object made an unusual maneuver.
“All of a sudden this object turns upside down and goes back to the left. It stops and hovers. I was thinking – that sure don’t act or seem like a small airplane?”
The witness continued to move closer to the object.
“As I get close I see it’s a black triangle craft hovering right over a bridge along I-459. I could not believe it. Someone else had to see it. The interstate was busy – but so far no reports on the news.”
The witness drove under the object.
“As I drove up I-459 and went under the overpass/bridge, I was right under this thing. Like I said, it was a dark triangle craft hovering. It had 3-4 lights on each side. They were white, bright like a big flood light. They were blinking on and off. One side the lights would blink 1,2,3,4. Then go dark. Then the other side would blink 1,2,3,4.”
The witness could not stop.
“I tried to slow down and get a picture but traffic would not allow it. I saw this thing for about 30 seconds to one minute. Once I was under it – it was very, very low – tree top height.” . . .

Low Flying UFO Cloaked Itself, says West Virginia Witness
West Virginia witnesses at Elkins reported watching and following a low flying , triangle-shaped UFO that eventually appeared to cloak itself and disappear about 8:40 p.m. on September 25, 2014, according to testimony in Case 60101 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The reporting witness and his wife were driving south out of Elkins on Beverly Pike when two bright orange lights were observed low in the sky.
“The light on the right was higher than the one on the left, suggesting the object had just changed direction or was banking from a western direction of travel to a northern direction of travel,” the witness stated.
The couple moved closer to the object.
“We watched the lights get closer and appear level as the object was traveling due north in the opposite direction of travel from us. We noticed a third, dim white light in the front of the object, thus forming a triangle of lights with the two orange orbs to the rear/side.”
The witness described the object.
“As we got closer I noticed the orange lights were hourglass-shaped. Last night was very clear and devoid of any cloud cover. This made it possible to discern the shape of the object was indeed a triangle, flat black in color, reflecting no light.” . . .
