     A UFO has been spotted flying around the Hinckley area.

The incident was reported to the Leicestershire UFO Investigation Network who said on their Facebook page that a male witness spotted a “large pulsating bright red light in the sky” about the Jelson Estate on May 1.

The male reported seeing the possible alien spacecraft around the Hollycroft area at 9.55pm.

The witness stated: “I was just drawing my bedroom curtains when my eyes were drawn to an extremely vivid red light that was flying towards the east, very low in the sky - just above the rooftops. I opened the window to listen for sound, but there was nothing - just silence.

“I watched the object moving very slowly through the sky for about five minutes until it finally disappeared behind St Mary’s Church.

“I used my binoculars at one point, but the strange thing was that I couldn’t get them to focus on the object - even though I keep them ready for normal use and never have any trouble.”

Graham Hall, volunteer at LUFOIN, said: “The witness is a regular astronomer who is aware of what is in the sky so we are taking notice of what he is saying. . . .

     I was driving home west bound on market street and noticed six or more lights hovering and changing colors. Three of the lights ascended in tandem. They raised and lowered behind the tree tops from my view three or four times. I stopped my truck on the side of the road and watched them for approx. 2 minutes before I decided to video them with my cell phone. By that time there were only two left, but i did record them. They eventually faded away in the darkness. . . .

     Three UFOs were videotaped over Wittenberge, Germany, on the night of Sept. 18, and reportedly clearly captured on a camera using full zoom and night sight capability.

While the person who came up with the video remains anonymous, the video was posted online by UFOFilesTV, which describes itself as "a new kind of UFO agency on YouTube. Our goal is to upload real UFO sightings because with today's modern computer technology, you can fake many things."

Clearly visible in the video are three objects, two of which are triangular-shaped and the third object is circular. As they move in relation with each other, the two triangles appear to individually rotate, and when they first approach each other, they seem to be repelled, as if they are opposite ends of a magnet or the way objects in early video games used to "bounce" away from each other.

The video has no clearly defind reference points, like the appearance of ground, trees, hills, buildings and, even, stars. At the end of the video -- and to the apparent surprise of the videographer -- one of the triangles takes off at incredible speed.

Is this a legitimate night vision video showing unexplained objects in the sky? Just because someone claims that night vision equipment was used to produce evidence of unknown aircraft, does that mean we should accept it as fact? . . .

UFO Sphere Captured On Video Over Beach Park, Illinois 5-25-13

     Multiple Illinois witnesses at Beach Park reported watching and videotaping a low flying sphere that apparently reacted to their flashlight, according to testimony in Case 47618 closed as an Unknown Aerial Vehicle, the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) announced September 19, 2013.

The reporting witness was visiting family in Beach Park when the object was first noticed about 10:15 p.m. on May 25, 2013.

"The object was moving and then started to hover and then drifted back over," the witness stated. "It started to change colors, dip down, fly up and all over. At this point knew I was seeing something extraordinary and started shouting for everyone to go look outside."

Other family came outside to witness the light in the sky that seemed to dip low over one particular area.

"It was amazing and flew in such a fluid way. I've never seen anything like it. It definitely seemed to have an interest in a certain little area as it would keep dipping down. That seemed to be a common theme."

The witness ran inside and retrieved a flashlight and began shining it at the object.

"Started to shine the light at it in a Morse Code fashion and right away it took notice and flew towards us, almost like a curious bee. At this point my heart was pounding a bit because I did not know what was going to happen, but this was awesome. After a while it lost interest and went back to bumbling around over its area." . . .

      We were bring groceries in from the car while the discs crossed the night sky in a northern direction, I ran in and grabbed my camera, photographed the discs giving of a type sparks from each that does not show on the video however when a plane entered the area I could still the discs but I was unable to capture them again once the plane was in the area.

They were very bright and extremely noticeable. They hovered and than went in a northerly direction again. There several and more came from the east and joined them they eventually diapered. The event lasted a good 8 minutes and was seen by 3 of use.

I was trying to get them to notice us, at which time they did hover for a period of time. The movement was smooth, rather slow. I was trying to contact them with thought. Sounds unbelievable but true. I was calm and filled with wonder. I was having difficulty holding the camera still as I took the video, I was filmed free hand, no tri-pod or brace of any kind the movement of the disc in the video look shaky but the movement of the discs was very smooth.

     I was on the beach about 9:30 at night when myself and a friend noticed 2 sets of red lights over the beach approx 300-400 ft away and 50+/-ft above the water. They appeared to be leaving a marsh area behind the beach.

They appeared red with a orange/white center that sort of glowed in fiery kind of way when they were close, and appeared completely red as they got further away. My initial thought was they looked like mini suns. They were steady in intensity and did not flicker or change color. The video shows them as being white at times but to the naked eye they were always red.

aprox 2 minutes later a second set of lights appeared from the same location and followed the same trajectory out over the water.

Neither sets of lights made any sound, moved slowly and smoothly over the water. I dont know how big they really were but at my distance of 300-400 feet away they initially appeared to be about the size of a softball.

There were six other witness to the sighting including a couple on the porch of the beach house behind us and 4 teenagers a little ways down the beach.

Case closed: Boomerang object reported 300 feet from witnesses' roof line

      A Minnesota witness at Eden Prairie reported two encounters with unidentified objects including a boomerang-shaped object that appeared 300 feet from his roof line, according to testimony in Cases 47870 and 47499 both closed as an Unknown Aerial Vehicle, the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) announced September 12, 2013.

The witness was outside smoking at 10:50 p.m. on May 18, 2013, when the first object was noticed.

"Looked up towards the Big Dipper and saw the two oval reddish lights," the witness stated. "Then noticed the crescent shape between the lights. It started on a straight path. Suddenly made multiple S-shaped maneuvers in the pattern of how a snake looks when it moves. Very, very fast."

The witness stated he lives near two airports, but has never seen anything like this before.

"It was very low and made no sound. The lights were oval and sort of dim. Clear sky. Mild humidity. It lasted maybe 10-15 seconds. It went across the whole sky in this short time and got smaller and faded out like it left the atmosphere." . . .

     The following video was published under the account of YouTuber, Claudia Adams; the title is posited as a question, “UFO’s??,” along with the location, time and date.

In watching the video, you can hear kids talking and apparent horseplay; the father of the videographer is present. Amidst the playing around, the videographer while shooting the objects states, “those things, they are freaking me out.”

The location was listed as Sheffield Lake, Ohio; time 9:00 pm.

     A POSSIBLE UFO sighting has been reported, involving mysterious red and orange lights in the skies over Dorking.

. . . a town resident named only as Aaron reported seeing the lights – which did not move in the same way as regular aircraft – as he walked towards Box Hill at 10.15pm on Thursday August 29).

He wrote: “I was walking to my girlfriend’s house like I do every night around this time. This is my first ever experience of seeing a UFO.

“I was looking from Dorking towards Box Hill. I saw three bright orange lights in a perfect row which stood out to me in the clear night sky as they where bigger than your average bright object in the night sky. . . .

     Brightly Lit White Light Orb / Sphere, it came from a south western direction and did a gradual turn just over the outskirts of the city, and headed off in a south eastern direction, it was moving slowely and lasted about 6 minuets, its speed was varible slowing down to nearaly a stop half way true and speeding up but still remained slow moving . . ..

VIDEO: UFO spotted over Thundersley, Essex

     The one minute, 19 second clip was uploaded to the video sharing website YouTube by a user called Dave Davis-Collins.

According to a post accompanying the video, the sighting took place on August 12.

Mr Davis-Collins also writes: "This footage is genuine.

"Over the past two weeks strange objects in the night sky have been passing over the house.

"They vary in altitude and appear brighter than the stars, then disappear into nothing.

"They travel twice as fast as any private or commercial air craft and make no sound.

"There are no flashing lights (as featured on standard air craft) and this is not a shooting star/meteor. . . .

     An unusual formation of illuminated objects appeared in the night sky Saturday over Sonoma County, prompting nearly a dozen motorists in Petaluma to pull off the road and gawk at the display.

Jake Marble of Petaluma was heading south on Highway 101 sometime between 9:30 and 10 p.m. Saturday when he saw what appeared to be a moving formation in the southern sky that resembled the Big Dipper constellation of stars.

The lighted orbs appeared to be flying at the typical height of an airplane, although they did not appear to be typical aircraft, Marble said.

He and his wife exited at Petaluma Boulevard South and parked, joining a throng of drivers who stopped to watch the mysterious display.

“It was almost a scene from a movie. People had pulled off the road haphazardly and were looking up, amazed at what was happening,” Marble said.

The small flickering lights appeared from above the Quarry Heights hill in the southwestern sky, traveled to the southeast toward the moon and disappeared, Marble said. . . .

      Father and mother witnessed this video at approximately 11pm. I witnessed just one of the objects around midnight about 7 miles away on the same night but it was by itself... hovering more or less with small directional change... no noise whatsoever. . . .

      A UFO bearing a resemblance to the Quidditch ball in Harry Potter was spotted over Harlow - on the day of a massive meteor shower.

The sighting was reported on a UFology website by a witness known only as Alex.

He says he saw the UFO over the West Essex town at 10.35pm on Monday - the day of the Perseids meteor shower.

He wrote: "Three of us were watching the sky for the meteorites but we all ended up seeing some very weird UFOS. . . .

. . . "Then we was (sic) just talking about it and watching the sky and I saw a meteorite but then at 23:29 this was probably the scariest one - four orange circles together, two at the back and two in front in the centre and they were orange balls but they looked slightly different and we noticed them longer they had a line on the left and right side of them like wings but very small similar to the quidditch ball in Harry Potter but much bigger! . . .

Suspicions are growing that a strange light filmed hovering over Stamford could be a stunt for a new TV show

     Videos posted on YouTube in the last few days show firstly the light over a cow field near Stamford and secondly the light hovering over the town, captured from Broad Street.

Since the Mercury posted the story online, several readers have come forward to say they were asked about “stange lights” by a TV crew in Stamford last week.

Robin Burgess said: “A few days back me and a friend were walking through Red Lion Square when a film crew stopped us and asked if they could interview us. They asked us questions such as what sort of things there were to do in Stamford, what we thought of it and of any ‘spontaneous activities’ as well.

“After telling them that not really that much happens for people of our age and explaining that the night life here was actually all right, he randomly asked us both if we had seen any strange lights in the night sky.

“We hadn’t actually seen it ourselves, so replying ‘no’ made him swiftly move on, but in context to other questions they was asking, it was a bit out of the blue.

“The interview lasted about five minutes and they said it was for a show called The Village which was to air on UKTV around November.”

Trudy Salandiak was taking part in Stamford Steampunk Festival when she was approached by a film crew worker.

She said: “He told us he’d come to scope out some ‘strange goings on’ in the area and wanted to know whether there was any truth in it.

     I was walking to downtown, from my place in uptown, via Loring Park. I spotted two objects hovering in the NE sky. At first I didnt pay much attention to them as I thought it was just helicopters perhaps. But then, one looked like it was sort of checking out the Basillica. Im not sure how far away they were, so it may have just been a quirk of viewpoint and unrelated to the Basillica.

That struck me as interesting so I decided to record them with my Galaxy Note 2 phone. I also tried to get enough reference points in some of the shots to triangulate size if someone is interested in doing so. Im not sure what the objects were. Im inclined to think they were manmade. They werent helicopters though, at least not normal sized ones.. nor did they have the correct lights for that sort of vehicle. (Perhaps Im mistaken?)


The objects themselves were dual colors. They looked like two square lights of some sort attached to one another, which you cant tell from the video due to the low quality. If I remember correctly the colors were a solid blue and green, but dont quote me on that... I cant recall for sure. In the video each object appears a different color versus each being a dual color.

Before I started to record, the second object had been hovering back and forth. Its the object you see hover up from the lower left in the video.

My feelings and reactions: Curiosity more than anything. Like I said, I think it was probably something of terrestrial origin and someone either testing out some kind of say.. drone, or something, or putting on a show of some sort with rc craft. They kind of reminded me of those small automated drones from some of the universities you see videos of doing synchronized flying. That or perhaps small RC craft (but silent). At first I thought there might be some sort of propeller sound, but it was just downtown noise.. As I made my way downtown no one else seemed to have noticed anything. (it was busy downtown)

How did I lose sight of the objects? See the video. They did their thing and then flew off. The second one looked like it had been landing or taking off before I started recording. Its hard to tell for sure though without a better idea of distance though. . . .
