Scientist, Dr. Garry P. Nolan with Journalist Ross Coulthart | INTERVIEW

Scientist, Dr. Garry P. Nolan with Journalist Ross Coulthart | INTERVIEW

Background

Dr. Garry P Nolan has given a range of interviews over the last few years., concerning the topic of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena. I have written about a number of these. Back in 2016, he was interviewed by journalist Annie Jacobsen, for her book "Phenomena" about his work with Dr. Christopher "Kit" Green. In a June 2021 blog article, I presented details of three interviews with Garry Nolan. In February 2022 Garry Nolan was interviewed about his analysis of UAP related materials. He has also appeared, in more recent times, on a number of UAP related podcasts, providing his views on the phenomena.

Need To Know

In an 24 August 2022 episode of the podcast "Need to Know" with Ross Coulthart and Bryce Zabel, produced in conjunction with the Channel 7 television network in Australia, Garry Nolan was interviewed by Ross Coulthart. The following is a transcript of most of that conversation.

Ross: Professor, how significant is it that the United States government came out, a year ago, and admitted that Unidentified Aerial Phenomena are real. Whatever they are; they're a real mystery?

Garry: I think it tells us that, first of all, the government has been lying to us for the last 60 or 70 years. I think it gives solace to people who have been told that they were crazy to have been believing or seeing this...

Ross: I know this is speculative, but why do you think the US government's lied?

Garry: I think it's because, frankly, they didn't understand what it was, and no body wanted to admit that; first of all. But second that they didn't want to admit that they didn't have control over our airspace. We didn't have control over our own airspace.

Ross: So the government's been lying, but do you think there's been a coverup?

Garry: Absolutely. I mean there's been both a coverup, as well as a disinformation compaign to make people look like they were crazy.

Ross: ...Is it a dangerous thing for you to admit that you think these things about the phenomena?

Garry: I think its dangerously necessary. I think that this is the kind of thing that if we continue to ignore it; if we continue to ignore the potential danger of what it might represent, we are putting ourselves at risk, both to what it might do to us sometime in the future, but then ignoring the physics of what these things are capable of doing.

Ross: Let's talk about "it." What is "it?"

Garry: You know, I wish I knew, and of all the people that I've spoken with on the inside, there's really very little unanimity about what it is; except for, that there, whatever it is, appears to be so far advanced from us, that it beggars understanding.

Ross: So, you don't think its human?

Garry: I'm sure its not human.

Ross: Is it intelligent?

Garry: Yes. It certainly acts it. And in some cases, it seems to have a sense of humor.

Ross: ...You are suggesting there is a highly advanced civilisation, that is intelligent, and it's not human, and its real?

Garry: Yeh. I almost hesitate even to call it a civilisation. A civilisation implies a lot of interacting parts that are moving towards some sort of goal. I couldn't even say whether or not, what it is  that is being observed is something like that.

The Wilson/ Davis notes

Ross: Are you aware of a document called the Admiral Wilson document?

Garry: Yes.

Ross: Do you think its genuine?

Garry: Yes.

Ross: Wow!

Garry: I mean, I know Eric Davis, and you know, Eric is of a kind of character that is just impossible for him to lie.

Ross: The significance of that document is that the former immediate past director of the Defence Intelligence Agency Admiral Thomas Wilson, allegedly had a conversation with Dr Eric Davis, a renowned physicist, where he imparted his discovery that there was a secret UFO reverse engineering program going on inside the US government, where they were hiding recovered spacecaft, and it was being hidden in private aerospace, in a private aerospace corporation. The journalist in me, Garry, thinks Americans can't keep secrets, everything leaks in this country.

Garry: And this is an example of it.

Ross: Ok. So, you take that point.

Garry: Yeah.

Ross: Ultimately it did leak.

Garry: Ultimately, it leaked. But what was interesting, was how it was found. It was found in Edgar Mitchell's effects after he died. So, it wasn't like anybody went out of their way to put it out there.

Ross: Apollo 14 astronaut, Edgar Mitchell?

Garry: Right. Eric Davis had written it, and I don't know what the story was as to how Edgar, Dr Mitchell got hold of it, but nobody was looking to actively reveal this. It was the work of journalists who finally got hold of Edgar's materials who decided to release it.

Why would Eric Davis lie about writing something that he never intended to go public in the first place. He was just doing what an intelligent agent does on a regular basis, which is write reports on what it is they have been doing.

Ross: And Eric, quite conspicuously has never made any comment one way or the other about the veracity of the document.

Garry: Right. Well.

Ross: He can't; can he?

Garry: He can't; but well before this came to light I already knew of the document. So, because, you know, Eric was part of a group that I was associated with, around this.

Ross: The implications of that are mind blowing, Garry. This conversation; you told me that you believe, on evidence, that there is a non-human intelligence of advanced technology, on this planet?

Garry: Right. Advanced capabilities. Now, I don't know whether it is a technology per se. Because I'm leaving open the idea that it's some form of  consciousness that is non material. And I will say to my colleagues, out there, I know that all this sounds absolutely crazy, but if you've seen the things that I've seen, you would only be able to come to a similar conclusion. You know, and I know again my reputation takes a hit I'm sure, that there are, you know, prizes and other things that I'm never going to get because I'm talking about this. That's now where near as important as this subject matter to me.

Some of Garry's personal experiences

Garry then spoke of a number of personal experiences:

1. Windsor, Connecticut. Around 1972/73. [Garry was born in 1961.] Around 5.30 am he was delivering newspaper in the dark. He walked through a copse of trees and became aware of a round object above him, with 4-5 lights shining down.

2. Windsor, Connecticut. 1967-1968. Woke up in his bedroom Saw little men in the room. Went on for a few weeks then stopped. Could have been a dream.

3. London. In a hotel, woke up in bed with his entire body "buzzing." Could hear that sound. At the pomt of waking up he heard words, though words is not the right term. He heard "This is how you connect."After 10-15 seconds, he thought to himself this has to stop and it did. He didn't think it had a physiological cause.

Some comments

1. Statements by Garry Nolan have been becoming more definitive as time goes by. He has placed his professional reputation on the line by making the kind of statements which you have just read above.

2. Although it has been a loosely kept "secret" for some time; Garry Nolan has now chosen to publicly describe some of his own personal experiences with the phenomena.

3. His comments re the Wilson/Davis document are certainly illuminating. He has no doubt that the document is genuine, i.e. that it is a true record of a meeting between Eric Davis and then Admiral Thomas Wilson. He states that he knew of the existence of the document before it hit the Internet. Click here to read the original document for yourself.

4. All in all, a revelatory interview.

Remembering Edgar Mitchell: UFO/ET Disclosure Advocate

     [...]

From the early days of his retirement until his recent death, Edgar seriously addressed the issue of unidentified flying objects and extraterrestrial visitors. He regularly made public claims that Earth has been visited by extraterrestrial life. Among those statements were the following:
BILL WICKERSHAM
www.columbiatribune.com
3-1-16
• “We are not alone in the universe. They have been coming here for a long time.”

•“Yes, there have been ET visitations. There have been crashed craft. There have been materials and bodies recovered.”

• “When I learned that aliens really do exist, I wasn’t too surprised. But what did shock me when I started investigating extraterrestrial reports a decade ago is the extent to which the proof has been hushed up.”

• “There have been craft recovered, and there has been a certain amount of reverse engineering that has allowed some of these craft, or some components, to be duplicated. And, there are Earthlings who are utilizing some of this equipment in certain ways.”
On Sept. 18-19, 2014, NASA and the Library of Congress hosted a symposium concerning preparation for the discovery of extraterrestrial life. Titled “Preparing for Discovery: A Rational Approach to the Implications of Finding Microbial, Complex or Intelligent Life Beyond Earth,” the symposium failed to address the UFO phenomenon in any way, except in one statement regarding a question from a member of the audience.

In response to that situation, Edgar Mitchell joined with three other writers to forward an open letter to NASA and the Library of Congress pointing out the remarkable omission of UFO data. The title of the open letter was: “Neglected and Unacknowledged Evidence: A Response to ‘Preparing for Discovery — NASA/Library of Congress Astrobiology Symposium.’” Others who signed the 12-page letter were Paul Hellyer, former deputy prime minister of Canada; Canadian UFO journalist Victor Viggiani; and me. Astronaut Edgar Mitchell and Immunity For UFO Insiders

The way of the explorer

I first met moonwalker Edgar Mitchell in late 1995, at a restaurant in the back yard of Kennedy Space Center, which was getting ready to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Apollo 14. Given how NASA types tended to treat UFO questions like warlocks and unicorns, De Void was unprepared for Mitchell’s receptivity. No, he insisted, he hadn’t seen evidence of UFOs during his off-planet adventures. “NASA at that time was so sure there were no such things, there was no discussion of it." But he added this: "I would say, however, that if there was knowledge of ET contact existing within the government, and we were sent into space blind and dumb to such information, I think it is a case of criminal culpability."
By Billy Cox
De Void

Criminal culpability. Whoa. Thus began a long conversation with one of the old astronaut corps’ unique thinkers. This was a guy who, after admitting he conducted ESP experiments on the moon in 1971, took a lot of crap from colleagues – and he didn’t care. He went onto formalize his curiosity about human consciousness by founding the Institute of Noetic Sciences, which went on to publish papers on everything from meditation to the “Physical effects of collective attention at Burning Man 2013.”

Anyhow, the former Navy captain rolled his own tobacco that night, back when you could still smoke indoors, and he talked about one of his even more unusual intrigues. A year or so earlier, during Air Force efforts to resolve General Accounting Office questions about missing records related to the 1947 Roswell controversy, USAF Secretary Sheila Widnall had granted amnesty to potential whistleblowers who might produce leads, but by that time the major players were dead. One year after that, without naming names, Mitchell said he was in discussions with former military or government operatives who wanted to extend immunity to cover even more UFO insiders.

“The purpose of the meeting was not to convince anybody else of their stories,” he said, “but to get people released from their security oaths with regard to these phenomena. Given who they were, and their credentials, I have to tell you, it pushed my confidence level up five notches.” Mitchell said he was shaken by what he was learning. “I am convinced there is a small body of valid (UFO) information, and that there is a body of information ten times as big that is total disinformation put out by the sources to confuse the whole issue.” He described the setup as “a body of semi- or quasi-private organization” operating with black-budget federal funding. “And nobody knows what goes into black budgets. The prime requisite is security first and everything else second.”

Without more details, Mitchell’s allegations sounded like something Fox Mulder’s scriptwriters could’ve hatched without really trying. We now know that the sixth man on the moon had, in 1995, begun huddling with “Ambassador to the Universe” Disclosure guru Steven Greer, whose ET outreach tuition now begins at $2,500 a pop. The Mitchell-Greer bond fell apart when Greer began using Mitchell’s name as a witness to promote his Disclosure initiative. Mitchell, in fact, had no first-hand knowledge of Greer’s alleged cloak-and-dagger scenario, and he charged Greer with “overreach(ing) his data continuously.”

But in 2008 – and once again, without naming names – Mitchell stoked the embers when he told CNN’s Larry King he had met a high-level Pentagon official pooh-bah who told Mitchell that he – the pooh-bah official – couldn’t get his hands on classified UFO documents because he lacked the proper security clearance. But that was a story Greer had been repeating for years. And that official was Rear Adm. Thomas R. Wilson, former Defense Intelligence Agency director and – at the time of his meeting with Mitchell in 1997 – director of intelligence for the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

So De Void got on the horn to Wilson, whose golden parachute had made for a soft-retirement landing with a defense contractor in Minnesota. Wilson definitely remembered Mitchell asking him about pursuing UFO leads. But Wilson also said he had all the security passes he needed. “What is true is that I met with them,” Wilson told De Void in a phoner. “What is not true is that I was denied access to this material, because I didn’t pursue it. I may have left it open with them, but it was not especially compelling, not compelling enough to waste my staff’s time to go looking for it.”

Mitchell told De Void he was “shocked” by Wilson’s answer. Ever the gentleman, however, Mitchell declined to argue: “I do not wish to engage him on this matter.” For his part, Greer stood by his Wilson story in an email: “I was there and I know what he said. I was also informed prior to the meeting that, after sending him a secret document with UFO-related code names and numbers, that he located one of the compartments but was specifically denied access to the operation.” And that was that.

But so earnestly did Mitchell want to get to the bottom of the mystery that he traveled to Mexico City for the unveiling of what would be the biggest UFO fiasco of 2015 – the Roswell space alien cadaver pix, which were being hyped as a game-changer. Within days, the images were discovered to be Kodak slides of a Native American mummy. De Void didn’t attempt to contact the Apollo veteran for reaction after that. But living in fear of making mistakes would’ve been an untenable prospect for one of only a dozen men to leave bootprints on another world.

“The desire to live life to its fullest, to acquire more knowledge, to abandon the economic treadmill,” he wrote in his autobiography The Way of the Explorer, “are all typical reactions to these experiences in altered states of consciousness. The previous fear of death is typically quelled. If the individual generally remains thereafter in the existential state of awareness, the deep internal feeling of eternity is quite profound and unshakable.” After literally expanding the perimeters of human history, what could possibly be intimidating after that? Name-calling?

So bon voyage, Dr. Mitchell. And here’s hoping that your greatest wish for those who determine our fates will someday come to pass: “From out there on the moon, international politics look so petty. You want to grab a politician by the scruff of the neck and drag him a quarter of a million miles out and say ‘Look at that, you son of a bitch.’”

Astronaut Sets Record Straight On ET Nuclear War

Edgar Mitchell, the 6th man to walk on the moon, accuses
a British paper of fabricating a story about ETs saving America.

Few people are surprised by the eye-popping headlines in The Mirror. But when the infamous British tabloid quoted astronaut Edgar Mitchell as saying that "UFOs came in peace" to "save America from nuclear war," it shocked everybody -- including Mitchell.

"I don't know where The Mirror got the story," Mitchell, 84, said in an email to The Huffington Post, accusing the paper of fabricating his quotes and denying that an interview for this story ever took place.

The sixth man to walk on the moon has been outspoken over the years in his belief that extraterrestrials have visited the Earth and the moon -- and that the government is withholding vital information about UFOs. Still, Mitchell insists the Aug. 11 Mirror story has no basis in the truth and disavows the information in it. [...]

UFOs and Beyond: Apollo 14 Astronaut Ed Mitchell Is Looking Up

By Alan Boyle

Apollo 14 moonwalker Edgar Mitchell may be the only astronaut to conduct an ESP experiment in space, or openly state that extraterrestrials could theoretically live on the moon. But when historians look back at the Apollo moon effort a thousand years from now, Mitchell wants to be remembered for the down-to-Earth attitude he took toward his assigned task on the moon.

"Our task was to start to do the science," he told NBC News. "And we did that. We did it well. We brought back the first real samples from the moon."

Sure, Apollo 11 brought about 50 pounds of moon rocks back to Earth, and Apollo 12 brought back 75 pounds. As most folks will recall, a potentially fatal mishap forced Apollo 13 to come back from the moon without ever landing on its surface — which meant the pressure was on Mitchell and his Apollo 14 crewmates, Alan Shepard and Stuart Roosa, to help get America's space program back on track in 1971.

The mission succeeded, though not without a hitch or two ... or three. In his recently published book, "Earthrise: My Adventures as an Apollo 14 Astronaut," Mitchell recounts all the twists and turns that brought him from farm life near Roswell, New Mexico, to the moon and back. . . .

. . . Mitchell makes no secret about his belief that life exists elsewhere in the universe, and he's willing to accept the possibility that alien spacecraft have visited Earth. When he returned to his hometown in New Mexico, he met with the relatives and colleagues of people involved in the 1947 Roswell UFO incident — and decided there was 'adequate proof that the Roswell incident was a real thing." . . .

UFO Cover-Ups Must End, Moonwalker Edgar Mitchell Says

By James M. Clash
www.bloomberg.com

On Feb. 5, 1971, Edgar Mitchell became the sixth of only 12 men to step on the moon. Of that elite dozen, which included Buzz Aldrin and the late Neil Armstrong 44 years ago this week, Mitchell is the only one to go on record about his controversial belief in extraterrestrial UFOs -- and of a possible government cover-up.

Mitchell, 82, is no dummy. While on active duty as a test pilot for the U.S. Navy, he completed an M.S. in aeronautical engineering at the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School and a doctorate in aeronautics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Mitchell also served in combat during the Korean War as a fighter pilot. In 1970, he was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

After retiring from NASA in 1972, he founded the Institute of Noetic Sciences and later wrote “The Way of the Explorer” to document his experiences with mysticism and space.

I recently spoke on the telephone with the retired U.S. Navy Captain from his home in West Palm Beach, Florida. He was lucid and convincing with his heavy southern drawl, and just a little guarded. . . .

Clash: You’re also known for your views on UFOs. What’s your experience regarding the Roswell, New Mexico, incident of 1947?

Mitchell: After my space flight, I was contacted by descendants of the original Roswell observers, including the person who delivered the child-sized coffins to the Air Force to contain alien bodies. Another was one of the children of the deputy sheriff who was patrolling traffic around the site. . . .

Former NASA astronaut and moon-walker Dr. Edgar Mitchell — a veteran of the Apollo 14 mission — claims aliens exist.

He says extraterrestrials have visited Earth on several occasions — but the alien contact has been repeatedly covered up by governments for six decades.

Mitchell, 77, said during a radio interview in Birmingham, England, that sources in the federal government who had had contact with aliens described the beings as "little people who look strange to us."

He said supposedly real-life ET's were similar to the traditional image of a "small gray" — short, slight frame, large eyes and large head.

Mitchell also claimed human technology is "not nearly as sophisticated" as the aliens' and "had they been hostile," he warned "we would be been gone by now." . . .

An epiphany in space.

Science’s trusty sidekick engineering designed and built the massive Saturn V launch vehicle that injected Shepard, Mitchell and Roosa into low earth orbit over four decades ago.

Ironically, the technology of Apollo afforded Edgar Mitchell the epiphany that would propel him for the rest of his life. On the return trip, Mitchell was no longer preoccupied with the operational checklist. He sat in the capsule and watched the universe slowly drifting outside the window. The capsule was spun to equalize the fierce heat of sunlight and intense cold of deep space.

In a thoughtful frame of mind, Mitchell watched the earth, sun and moon drift past his view in metronomic progression. He had a 'sudden and profound' realization that connected his consciousness with that of the universe around him.
Consider the experience of the nirvikalpa samadhi which is described similarly in different traditions. In this experience the sense of Self merges with the cosmos and reality is experienced as unity of Self with All-That-Is. The experience is accompanied by intense ecstasy, a sense of eternity and a complete loss of fear. The experience is ineffable in the sense that description is inadequate to convey the experience and the description alone does not assist others in attaining the experience.

Upon his return from the moon, Mitchell began a search for an explanation for that moment of profound realization. The search would lead him deep into physics theory.

The holy grail of physics is a unified field theory, a 'theory of everything'. The goal is one set reliable of equations that explain all science can observe and measure. These are currently based on the interactions of four fundamental forces that underly all physical matter: electromagnetism, the strong interaction, the weak interaction and gravitation.

Mitchell thought there must be more to it than that. The answer, Mitchell now believes, lies in thinking outside The Standard Model of physics, the closest current theory set that can explain everything.

Integrating consciousness into the theory of everything would go a long way towards explaining a range of so-called 'paranormal' occurrences, spoon-bending, telepathy, precognition, the apparent teleportation of objects and similar phenomena described in Mitchell's book The Way of the Explorer.

That integration is intrinsically difficult. The mathematics of consciousness are far more complex than those needed to get from Cape Kennedy to Fra Mauro. The forces that physics grapples with are invisible, however their effects are measurable.

Consciousness is both invisible and unmeasurable.

"Fundamentally, I'm a cosmologist." Mitchell says, "And the question is: 'How did all of this come about? How does mind and matter interact? How can we write the equations for intentionality?’" The last question is an example of Mitchell’s thought process.
In English we describe intuition as our 'sixth sense'. The fact that such information derives from the quantum description of reality suggests it should be called our 'first sense' as the quantum world precedes the formation stars systems, planets, galaxies, and so forth, from which our usual sensory experience derive.
— Edgar Mitchell, ScD

The path to those answers begins, he believes, with understanding Zero Point Energy. Zero Point Energy is the energy that remains when all other energy is removed from a system.
The Zero-Point Energy (ZPE) field as electromagnetic quantum fluctuations is an accepted mainstream concept of quantum mechanics and takes place even at zero degrees Kelvin. It represents an almost unlimited, ubiquitous energy source that permeates and sustains all matter and exists everywhere (even the vacuum of outer space).
— Quantrek website.

The direction from there became apparent when Mitchell came across Schempp’s work, which used the notion of a holographic mechanism for conveyance of nature’s information. Reading Schempp's paper, Mitchell had another epiphany.

“My God,” he remembers thinking, “this is what consciousness is about.”

The notion of a Quantum Hologram, Mitchell realized, was the means to include consciousness in the quest for a unified theory. Finally, a mathematical hook was in place to allow consciousness to be part of the equation of everything. Exactly how remains to be derived, although Mitchell is excited with the initial progress made.

“We have to find a good definition of ‘consciousness’ within the scientific rubric.” Mitchell says, “We think we have a start on it but it's not fully developed."

"Now that we know that consciousness is fundamentally a quantum phenomenon,” he continues, “we can start to look at all of these areas, including alternative methods of healing and on and on."

The Quantum Hologram model may be the missing link between quantum mechanics and general relativity. It is the holistic thread that weaves these two schools of thought together, providing an unprecedented integration of cosmic scale and atomic scale phenomena. Further, early explorations with the mathematics of Quantum Hologram have already led to progress in developing a quantum cosmology, in resolving some of the conflicts between quantum mechanics and relativity, and in suggesting how matter might arise ex nihilo from the field of quantum fluctuations.
— About the Quantum Hologram, Edgar Mitchell, ScD

Building on the realization that the Quantum Hologram model might be able to link General Relativity and Quantum Mechanics through the Zero Point Energy field, Mitchell developed what he calls the Dyadic Model of Consciousness. It is this new model of consciousness that attempts the unification of understanding of mind and matter.

That is the unexpected benefit of Apollo 14. . . .

SUBURBAN LAKE WORTH, Fla. -- The court battle is over between NASA and a local retired astronaut. Edgar Mitchell was fighting to keep a camera from one of the Apollo space missions. He had the camera for many years, but it wasn't until recently that NASA sued to try and get it back.

Mitchell says the camera probably could have been sold for $80,000 to a collector. Now, the camera will go to the Smithsonian Institution instead. Mitchell has agreed to donate the camera to the Smithsonian in Washington D.C.

The camera was in the lunar module which landed on the moon during the Apollo 14 mission in 1971. Mitchell has had the camera for 40 years and he says he had permission from NASA to keep it.

Recently however, NASA sued Mitchell, saying it wanted the camera back and it was not his in the first place. . . .

The space shuttle isn't the only old piece of NASA equipment that's making headlines. The space agency has filed suit against Apollo 14 astronaut Edgar Mitchell in an attempt to reclaim a 40-year-old camera.

A federal lawsuit filed Wednesday in Miami claims that Mitchell, the lunar module pilot and sixth man to walk on the moon, illegally tried to auction off a camera he used during his 1971 lunar mission.

"Defendant Edgar Mitchell is a former NASA employee who is exercising improper dominion and control over a NASA Data Acquisition Camera," NASA alleged in court documents obtained by The Palm Beach Post.

What Some Say about the Existence of UFOs

That Can't Be A UFO
By Dennis Balthaser
www.truthseekeratroswell.com
2-27-10

Dennis Balthaser     The debate whether UFOs exist or not has been discussed for decades, and the simple answer has always been yes they do exist. If it’s flying and is unidentifiable it’s a UFO. The more complex question I suppose, is trying to ascertain what it is that is flying and unidentifiable. Over and over many of the reported UFOs have in fact been identified, creating the term IFO, (Identified Flying Object.) The bigger question however seems to be whether it is something terrestrial, developed or created on earth, by us or some other country, or is it from somewhere “out there”, perhaps in our own galaxy, a distant galaxy or somewhere else in the universe.

For years we’ve heard from the “naysayers” that claim UFOs can’t possibly be from “out there” because of the vast distances they’d have to travel, the propulsion systems they’d have to use, and the fact that our own military and government dispute their existence. Those type excuses have lingered on for years by many that always have the same excuse, and don’t bother bringing anything new to the table. I basically believe that those type individuals are living in a box, thinking we humans know everything. The truth of the matter is the fact that if these unknown craft being seen are manned, their technology and knowledge would transcend ours by hundreds, maybe thousands of years, because we can’t go out there yet. That egotistical attitude has prevailed for many years by many scientists, astronomers, debunkers, and others that always seem to have all the answers.

Fortunately for those of us seriously interested in the subject of Ufology, there is support for the existence of UFOs from many impressive sources, which I will share with you. As with all of my research however, there are some individuals that claim extraterrestrial UFOs do exist, but I have to question their claims based on their record, lack of scientific data, omission of references, etc. That list of individuals would include Bob Lazar of Area 51 fame, Phil Schneider about the Underground Dulce New Mexico base, Lt. Col. Phil Corso, with no references for his best selling book “The Day After Roswell”, Tony Bragalia about Roswell, and several others. I am hopeful that in time new information will surface, which will allow me to retract my current views on those mentioned above.

Below are listed some quotes from individuals that I feel are from more credible sources. These sources also indicate that the possibility of UFOs being from “out there”, and real, has been suggested for many years.

“UFOs are real as the airplanes that fly over your head…I’m so concerned about what the consequences might be of starting an intergalactic war, that I just had to say something.”
-Paul Hellyer, Canada’s Defense Minister, September 25, 2005, at the U. of Toronto

“Maximum security exists concerning the subject of UFOs.”
-Allen Dulles, CIA Director, 1955

“It is time for the truth to be brought out in open Congressional hearings. Behind the scenes high-ranking Air Force officers are soberly concerned about the UFOs. But through official secrecy and ridicule, many citizens are led to believe the unknown flying objects are nonsense.”
-Admiral Hillenkoetter, first Director of the CIA, February 27, 1960

“I certainly believe in aliens in space, and that they are indeed visiting our planet. They may not look like us, but I have very strong feelings that they have advanced beyond our mental capabilities”.
-Senator Barry Goldwater, Arizona, 1965

“In our obsession with antagonisms of the moment, we often forget how much unites all the members of humanity. Perhaps we need some outside, universal threat to make us recognize this common bond. ALREADY among us?” “There are only a handful of people who know the truth about this.”

There are many more quotes available by notable individuals, making similar comments that not only are UFOs real, but that most believe the occupants operating those craft are likely from somewhere “out there”, (wherever out there might be).

Listing these comments will not change the view of those against the possibility of other life forms existing in the universe, while for me as a UFO researcher, I have assurance that the search should continue. Granted it’s an “up-hill” battle, but worth it if it proves we are not alone in the universe.
