. . . Pat and Donald Comstock live about a mile northeast of Martine’s farm, as the crow flies.

On March 16, at about 9:30-10 p.m., Pat was in her kitchen knitting when a bright white light shone in the kitchen window, which faces directly south.

She looked out to see two white lights, one higher than the other, coming towards their house. She called Donald to come see, and they went out onto their deck to see it. The lights were moving slow enough that they had time to go outside, she says.

They thought originally that it was a plane, maybe in trouble and about to crash.
But as the lights moved northwest over them, they could see red light on one side, and green on the other.

The white light were at the front of the objects, she said.
Donald said that because it was a full moon that night, there was a lot of light in the sky, and he could see the metal of the object as it passed by. He said it was a dull metallic colour.
The Comstocks also thought it could be STARS Air ambulance, but said it wasn’t making any noise as it passed, unlike the helicopter.

The Comstocks, who don’t have internet, hadn’t heard about the Martine’s story before Friday, after they had mentioned their sightings.

After reading the Martine account, Pat said the disconcerting part about it was that if there were two distinct times for the objects to pass over, given the location of the two homes, that meant that there would have been at least two separate passes by the objects. . . .

Strange lights in the sky over a ranch near Nanton have a mother and daughter wondering exactly what it was they saw last Sunday night.
“It rose so slowly, and then when it came out, as it came out so quickly . . .. Then the light started coming straight at us . . . and went straight over our house and headed to the northwest, behind us. . . . The way those white lights were hanging in the sky as long as they were and they didn’t change color and they didn’t change size for so long . . . that just makes me wonder . . ..”
