Seven V-Shaped Objects Reported Flying Near Civilian Aircraft

Seven V-shaped objects which appeared about the size of fighter planes were reported flying within 1500 or 2000 feet of a civilian aircraft over the Mountain Home desert Sunday.

Something in the sky caught the eye of some Great Falls residents on Monday night. The incident happened at about 11:10 p.m. on Monday.

The American Meteor Society says that it received 99 reports about a "fireball" seen over parts of Montana, Idaho, Washington, and in Alberta and British Columbia.

JEROME, Idaho (KBOI) — Dozens of dead owls have been reported by drivers along Interstate-84 in southern Idaho making for an eerie stretch of road.

Over the weekend, Nichole Miller and Christina White of Boise were driving home to Boise from Twin Falls when they spotted some road kill along the interstate.

Disc-Shaped Craft Hovers Over A Nearby Home

An Idaho witness at Meridian recalled a UFO event from 1977 when a disc-shaped craft hovered over a nearby home and moved towards him, according to testimony in Case 75381 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database. The witness was driving home in his truck late at night on May 5, 1977, and noticed the UFO hovering just above a neighbor’s roof as he pulled into his driveway. The case was reported to MUFON on March 23, 2016, and is under investigation by Idaho STAR Team Investigator Charles Stansburge who provides the account details.

“As he looked up from the road ahead to view it he seemed to ‘hear in his mind’ an authoritative male voice saying, ‘This is not of this world,’” Stansburge reported.“He stopped the truck, got out and watched for 20 to 30 minutes. His passenger did not stay outside with him. She went immediately into their home, as she was concerned for the safety of the children there.”

The witness continued to watch the craft as it noiselessly and slowly approached where he was standing.

At first the witness did not see any detail under the craft, but when it passed nearer to him he saw pulsating, colored lights in rectangular panels on the underside of the craft.

“There was no noise, emission of any kind from the craft and the lights from it were very bright, but did not seem to illuminate the ground or adjacent buildings. The disc was still in the sky over the homes when the witness eventually tired and went inside.” [...]

An Idaho witness at Boise reported watching and videotaping a red light in the sky that emitted a flashing orb that moved to ground level, according to testimony in Case 52934 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database. The incident occurred on December 24, 2013, and was reported to MUFON the following day. MUFON STAR Team Investigator Charles Stansburge investigated and closed this case as an Unknown. The witness was driving home with his wife when they first saw a red light in the sky.

“It caught my eye because I am always looking up for strange lights,” the witness stated.“I asked my wife what she thought and she recommended that we pull over – so I did.”

The witness looked at the object while stopped and realized it was not moving.

“I told my wife that we should hurry home and grab the video camera and hopefully it would still be there. Got home, ran inside, grabbed my camera and got it into view just in time to see it drop another orb, but this one was flashing.”

The witness described the object’s movement.

“It was moving down slowly and then stopped and almost seemed to come back up. Then the flashing object went back down and stopped for a second and then shot down to the ground. I didn’t realize the speed of the object’s decent until watching the video back in slow motion. It was like a bullet and didn’t make a sound. After the second object was out of view I zoomed in on the initial object and it flickered and blinked out.” [...]

     An Idaho witness at Caldwell reported watching and videotaping a series of unknown lights that remained stationary and moved around during the event, according to testimony in Case 61233 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The reporting witness and his wife were driving to a gas station on November 3, 2014, at 11:20 p.m. when the lights were first seen.

“I saw a strange light hovering,” the witness stated.“I told my wife. She was looking at it too so we went on another road to get a better view. The one light object split into two and then I started recording the one light that stayed stationary while the second light moved around it – up and down and side-to-side.”

     An Idaho couple at Nampa reported watching a hovering set up lights in a circular formation about 11:45 p.m. on September 20, 2015, according to testimony in Case 70704 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The reporting witness and his girlfriend were on a familiar walk to a nearby store when the lights were first seen.

“We noticed that there were a bunch of lights in a circular formation off to the east of the way we were walking,” the witness stated. “It was a huge set of lights that was over the town of Nampa, Idaho. It was over by the city we could tell because there is a bunch of light pollution over there.”

The couple’s first reaction is that they were witnessing a UFO.

“We kept watching it. It did not make any movement or any noise. It did not do anything except for sit there and we have noticed that we have never noticed lights like that over there before and we have walked this path many, many times.”

UFO Over Boise, Idaho | VIDEO

     The Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) has listed a video from Boise, Idaho as one of their top cases from 2013. The video itself is interesting. However, what is more interesting is that the UFO was sighted by three separate groups of people, and all of the reports were very similar.

The sighting took place on the evening of December 24, 2013 at approximately 9:15 pm. The reports were all within 9:15 to 9:30 pm. The object was reported by all parties as being a bright red light. They also say that a second red light appeared to drop down from the first. It moved slowly and then sped off quickly as both objects disappeared.

The witnesses who took the video of the object are a married couple who say they were driving when they first saw the red light. The male witness wrote in his report, “It caught my eye because I am always looking up for strange lights.”

He says his wife recommended they pull over for a better look, so they did. He says they could then tell that the object was not moving. The couple decided to rush home to get a camera to record the lights. He told the MUFON investigator that he always keeps his camera charged just in case he sees a UFO.

The witness said they only watched the object for a few second before rushing home. Prior to filming they had seen a small orb drop from below the object. He says they caught a second object dropping from the bright red light on camera.

In the video (seen below) a small blinking object can clearly be seen dropping from a larger brighter one. It moves down, then moves up again, before dropping down and moving off screen very quickly. . . .

      MERIDIAN, Idaho (KBOI) -- An unknown object was spotted in the sky over Meridian Wednesday afternoon.

A KBOI 2News viewer shot the video and then soon after noticed an airplane with a contrail following the object.

The video was taken from the back porch of Kaitlyn Ellis's home on Wednesday around 2:45 pm.

KBOI reporter, Morgan Wagner, went out to see what others thought about the flying object.

"That looks like a UFO," Donald Merritt said. "I lived out in the desert and I saw a lot of weird stuff out there."

But the Cadwells said to them it didn't look unusual.

"No, it didn't," Amanda says. "It didn't look like it was out of this world, but sorry I don't know."

      I live in Rathdrum Idaho and it was 7/31/07: 10:20 pm. very clear skies, with no cloud cover and not wearing glasses.

I was just star gazing, looking to the eastern horizon saw a bright white cigar shape do some extremely fast left and right movements then it decended to about 3000 ft. and came my direction extremely fast and then it was stationary and about 2 to 3miles out and the same elevation.

I had nothing to use for scale to say how large it may be but I saw really good details of it. It changed color from bright white to a glittering silver and yellow or gold color. Have you ever seen someone wear a glitter jacket on t.v. when the lights are on it? it was attractive to look at.

It started to get much brighter, as it did,what looked like welders slag began to drip off both ends of the object pretty evenly. As it got brighter more hot metal as it appeared was falling at least 100 ft. or more, cooling off before it reached the ground. This went on for 2 or 3 minutes. Then it grew dimmer and less hot metal fell till it stopped all together and then proceeded N.E. at a pace much slower than when it showed up till it was out of my sight.

I went in into my house and started to write down everything just as it happened to get it all correct. I did report it to MUFON and to NUFON. MUFON was the one very interested in it and sent me a report packet and I returned it.

I live in the country where theres no aircraft except small planes. The next night about 09:00 pm and for the next 5 nights, I saw a military twin prop with a round radar disc on top like the AWAK or PVY flying back and forth in the same area I saw the object for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours each night. eversince I have been hunting for the same type of story everywhere to better understand it. Ive only found 2 that help a little. 1 at maury just outside tocoma Wa. 1947 and Rendleshaw with colonal Holt"s story 1980 I think. If you know more about it or other sightings simular, I would greatly like better understanding.

My Father was in the Navy 30yrs as a ADJ-C ,and Ive seen alot of different aircraft, but nothing like this even close. Sorry I wrote a book here, I still get excited telling the story and promise you have the detailed truth as it unfolded.
