'National UFO Reporting Center Got Up to 200 calls Between News Year's Eve and January 1' | VIDEO
. . . We discovered the National UFO Reporting Center got up to 200 calls between News Year's Eve and January 1 -- all reporting orange-reddish lights in the sky.
"Clearly the reports that have come in here in the past 40 hours have virtually nothing to do with fireworks," said Peter Davenport, the Director of the National UFO Reporting Center.
Davenport says in the past 19 months he's received over 5,000 similar calls.
"They seem to defy any similarity to terrestrial aircrafts we just don't know what they are," Davenport said.
Davenport says a small percentage of these cases can be Chinese lanterns or hot air balloons -- but he isn't convinced they all are.
"At least we feel like we're not seeing things, you know, and it's been seen somewhere else," Hoffman said.
Our meteorologists say they don't believe weather nor anything in space caused the lights in our area. . . .

UFOs Over Cape Coral, Fla. Are Still Looking For An Explanation | UFO NEWS
Odd, lights glowing and flickering in the early morning sky above Cape Coral on Jan. 27 had many Florida residents reporting possible UFOs to their local NBC affiliate.
"They were small lights that hovered over the water...and then they disappeared," Pete Maccio told the TV station.
Nearly a week later, nobody is quite sure what they saw. . . .

UFOs Spotted in Cape Coral? | UFO NEWS | VIDEO
CAPE CORAL, FL - The strange and unexplained filled the skies over Cape Coral this weekend. Some viewers wrote in and even shared video of bizzarre lights. They called the sightings UFOs.
Wednesday afternoon, Cape resident Pete Maccio told us about his experience.
"I never saw anything like that before," remarked Maccio.
Maccio, who lives in Cape Coral, said he saw bizzare lights flicker this weekend in the early morning off the South Cape.
"They were small lights that hovered over the water at slow sleep and then they disappeared," said Maccio.
He and others speculate the unidentified flying objects seen high above the yacht club could be alien life forms. . . .
