A 51-year-old Loveland man has been arrested on suspicion that he distributed child pornography.
Stanley Romanek was arrested Thursday in the 3900 block of Ash Avenue on felony charges of sexual exploitation of a child.
According to police, the arrest was the result of a months-long investigation into tips provided by the Department of Homeland Security.
The warrant for Romanek's arrest called for no bond, but after an initial appearance before a judge, the terms were modified to a $20,000 personal recognizance bond. As of Thursday night he remained in custody.
While the arrest warrant was issued Wednesday, the initial search warrant on his computer was served in April 2013. . . .
