UFO NEWS | RUSSIA | 'Shiny Space Object' Crashes in Russian Siberia (Irkutsk)

"UFO", crashed in the Irkutsk region, may be a meteorite or a fragment of the DPRK's satellite

      An unknown space object fell in the Irkutsk region near the village of Mama-Vitim Chui region, as reported in the MOE, with reference to the witnesses.

locals called emergency services and reported some shiny object; it was heard and a smoke plume could be seen in the mountainous terrain.

The MOE ruled out the possibility of a crash, yet rescuers are checking the possibility that it was a meteor or debris of the North Korean satellite 'Kvanmenson-3', launched 13 April 2012. North Korea and spilled into the atmosphere shortly after takeoff.

Given the mountainous terrain and bad weather, the search for the mystery object has been temporarily postponed.
