Look-Alike UFOs Videotaped Over Missouri And Arizona (VIDEO)

      Whatever it was over the skies of Tucson, Ariz. and Kansas City, Mo., eyewitnesses in both cities agree -- it was quite a show.

Unusual displays of lights were reported in both cities on Saturday night, giving rise to UFO chatter.

According to one eyewitness, identified as Cbazz on YouTube: "My family and I witnessed these strange amber lights in Tucson on our way home from dinner. There were seven or eight of them crossing the sky, some solo and others in pairs flying very, very close together.

Several eyewitnesses saw and videotaped similar objects in the sky -- but this time, they were flying over Kansas City, Mo.

"Not for sure what they are, but I got several videos of them and pics. Looks like a UFO fleet!?" wrote YouTube poster jemnich1, who was contacted by another witness, GoGraveside, who sent this message on YouTube: "I really hope you get to investigate this incident. I was in the same vicinity and recorded the same lights on my cell phone. There were 3 additional passengers in my vehicle at the time who witnessed the 'lights' as well."

So, what were these folks looking at from different parts of the country? Or does it just get buried in those numerous reports that are never adequately explained?

     I had not given this sighting another thought until I learned a pilot flying into KCI airport reported something he had seen. I drive into work early every morning between 4:50am-5:09am, which is the time I reach close to downtown KCMO. I will never forget what I saw.

At first I thought I was just tired and imagined it. While driving on I-35 south (close to downtown KMCO) was a disc like shaped object. It was kinda of blue/white and it was indeed some sort of craft. It was just sitting in the sky/hovering. It then moved a bit to the right/flying, and then stopped and suddenly went vertical. I have never seen an airplane or helicopter make a move like that. It seemed impossible.

It disappeared into the sky after moving very fast vertically. Very very scarey object-it was clearly not manmade that I could tell. What is going on.

     I am the pilot of a regularly scheduled commercial aircraft flight from St. Louis to Kansas City and was on approach to KCI when my co-pilot said he saw an unidentified object to the right of the aircraft that appeared to be following us. It was not yet in my range of view, so I asked him to confirm that and the object remained.

I radioed the tower and asked for radar confirmation but there was none. Then the object came into my view to the right front of the aircraft. At that point we were approximately 35 minutes out from the airport. The object was a silver/gray color and had three blue/white lights on the bottom and one on the top. It was a disc-shaped craft with a low dome on top. It was approximately 300 feet from our aircraft and NNE of our position. Then the object suddenly moved underneath us and to the left, and continued at the our same rate of speed.

I discussed this with my co-pilot and we decided not to tell the tower what we saw because of what happens when reports like this are made. The tower then asked us to confirm an unidentified object and I said it was no longer in view. I was concerned, however, that it might be a problem. The object stayed with us for approximately 22 minutes. When I decreased aircraft speed for approach, the object slowed as well, then went directly south of our position at a very high rate of speed - faster than any aircraft Ive ever seen.

I was a military pilot for 14 years and know what type of aircraft we have. It was definitely NOT a man-made aircraft. Some pilots have lost their jobs when they report a UFO, and I would like to keep mine so am not providing my name or contact information. Some of the passengers were discussing this as they left the plane but we did not discuss it with them. Other crew members saw it as well, but did not report it. I just wanted to tell someone about it.

     KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Someone who says he is a commercial pilot has posted on a UFO website, claiming he spotted a UFO while flying into Kansas City International Airport on Monday night.

The pilot posted the sighting on UFO Stalker saying he was on approach to the airport from St Louis when he and his co-pilot noticed an unidentified object following their plane.

He described the object as 300 feet away from his plane, and was silver or gray in color with three blue or white lights on the bottom and one on the top. He said it was a disc-shaped craft with a low dome on top. . . .

     Are they airplanes? Helicopters? Visitors from another planet? Those are the questions that some metro residents are asking after strange lights were reported in the skies over Kansas City this week.

The lights were captured on cell phone video shot on Monday night near Van Brunt and 47th Street in Kansas City. According to the Mutual UFO Network, or MUFON, people have reported bright, shooting lights and hovering craft in the skies across the area on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night. . . .

     What is it? Our celestial curb appeal?

That, or those at the helm of all these UFOs this summer may think the new Kaufmann Center for the Performing Arts is some kind of mother ship.

Whatever, the skies over Kansas City have seen a surge in mysterious sightings and strange lights.

Some of you are thinking, sure, sure, just more swamp gas. Logical explanations usually come out the next day.

There is that.

But according to the Missouri chapter of Mutual UFO Network (Mufon), witnesses reported 14 “unknown” sightings in July and August alone for Kansas City. . . .
