was a nice, warm and clear night. As we talked, we noticed what looked like a very bright star out over the ocean. It came up out of the ocean (or possibly from Block Island, which is 12 miles out) and zig-zagged in 45 degree angles, gaining speed, until the last 'zag' where it exploded in velocity and shot into space. We both looked at each other, and I said, 'Did you see that?!" He just said, 'wow, yeah.' We never told anyone.
