Another cautionary tale when it comes to identifying potential UFOs is a recent video posted by a YouTuber in Bulgaria using the name “nedialko kostadinov.” The video shows an unusually bright light moving from horizon to horizon. This is exactly what you would expect from the International Space Station (ISS), which it just so happens was flying over the town where the video was captured at the exact time the video was captured.

The video is called UFO NK 61, presumably because it is believed to be a UFO taken by a man with the initials NK, and is the 61st UFO video Kostadinov has taken. Although upon further review, many of these videos also appear to be the ISS, others look like bright stars, but some are a bit more mysterious.

UFO NK 61 was taken in Haskovo, Bulgaria on August 4, 2013 at 5:13 am, according to Kostadinov. This is precisely the time the ISS was overhead according to the satellite tracking website Heavens Above. . . .

Bulgaria UFO Video Under Scrutiny By Ex-FBI Agent Ben Hansen

A fast moving, silent, circular, brightly lit object was videotaped moving across the night sky of Haskovo, Bulgaria, on August 4.

The video, posted by one "nedialko kostadinov," shows the unusual object passing behind numerous wires and structures and changing colors and intensity. Near the beginning of the video is what appears to be an aircraft of some kind, possibly behind the UFO. And several commenters chime in on the YouTube page, claiming to have also seen the same object within 24 hours of the posting of this video.

HuffPost showed the video to one of our resident skeptics, Ben Hansen, the lead investigator of the Syfy Channel's "Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files." Surprisingly, Hansen likes the video and doesn't think this particular UFO was a hoax.

"Yes, that is interesting," Hansen wrote in an email to HuffPost. "If the video is hoaxed, using computer graphics, the videographer has some decent editing skills and a lot of time on their hands. Although it's by no means impossible to hoax such a video, a hoaxer needs to overcome multiple technical challenges.

"They need to allow the object to pass behind wires and buildings (a tedious editing process we call rotoscoping), keep the object's size correct when the camera zooms in and out, degrade the object's image properly when zooming in, and add realistic effects, such as image wobbling." . . .

'UFO' Spotted in Bulgaria's Danube Town Lom

An object, believed by locals to be a UFO, has been spotted flying in the sky above Bulgaria's Danube town of Lom on November 25th.

The neon-shining ball then stopped above a house in the central part of the town and circled around its yard for three hours, Lom residents say, cited by bTV.

Eyewitnesses further report the light was pulsating and the object changed its form. There have been interruptions in the electric power supply and in TV broadcasts at the same time, while people who were in the vicinity felt sick and suffered headaches.

"I saw through the window something like a shining fog and felt a sharp pain in my head. I also felt pinned to my bed and was able to get up only after the light disappeared," a female local resident, 71, says.

Meanwhile, her son, who works as security guard, has been in the yard, and also saw the UFO. He has pictures of it from the security cameras he had installed around the house.

"I am willing to send the tapes to the Institute for Space Studies at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences," the man says.

Neighbors are also convinced that their town has been visited by a UFO.

Locals have even given a name to the UFO – "Shinny." . . .
