Suddenly, they could see "what appeared to be a fire, down low behind trees".... "Then the orange light started to rise up. It rose above the eucalypt trees," he said.

"We could see it coming towards us. I said, 'we’re about to find out what this thing is'.

"We were absolutely stunned. I said 'what the hell is that?'. This thing was coming towards us at no more than 25km/h.

"It was about 30 metres high, just above the tallest eucalyptus tree.

"As it approached us, the hairs on our neck and arms stood up. We were in deep shock. We couldn’t believe what we were seeing."

MY UFO EXPERIENCE: Triangular Shaped UFO Hovering Over Road in Halifax

     Hello Frank

So I was drawn to your sight because of your "black triangle" picture. It is the closest image that I have found that matches what I have seen. What I experienced happened about 10 years ago when I was driving home on a highway in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. I saw a bright light in the distance and was wondering what it was. As I got closer, I saw that is was an aircraft of some sort, but very flat. It was hovering over the highway so I slowed down as I approached it. I turned off the radio and opened my window as I drove under it. There was no noise and it seemed completely silent. It was so low in the sky that when I drove under it that all I could see was the underbelly of the aircraft and no sky or stars. It was black and triangular and there was one large circular light in the center that was extremely bright, but a soft light so that I could look into it and it did not hurt my eyes. In the left corner there was a small blue light and the right corner a small rectangular red light. It was constructed of small rectangular strips of metal and I could see the rivets in great detail. Once I drove under it I immediately pulled the car over to the side of the road and got out to get a better look but it was gone. It flew about 10 km west and all I could see was the bright light.
