Harry A. Jordan spent 6 and a half years in the US Navy and was a radar operator on the USS Roosevelt in 1962. Trained in operations intelligence, he has a classified clearance and also worked in electronic countermeasures. He testifies that as a radar operator on the Roosevelt, he had a radar contact with a huge object above 65,000 feet traveling at about 1,000 knots. . . .

ReplyDeleteI think he is wrong about when he was on the USS Roosevelt in 1962. Look at his face and see that he can't be older than 50 to 55. I came into the Navy in 1962 at 18 years of age and today I'm 68 years old. Yet he claims he was a trained Radar technician in 1962. He has to be in his late sixties or early seventies. His appearance doesn't show this.

I was thinking the very same thing while watching the interview (looking so young). Conversely, one would think that due diligence was pursued and identification and service verified.
