The symbols on the rod were instructions, that part is right. The instructions were for the actual rod itself. Without those symbols it would be useless :-)
ReplyDeleteIf a different set of symbols were on the rod say symbols telling it to be a shock absorber for a certain part of the craft it would act excactly. Take them off and add symbols that tell it to do something else and it would act accordingly. This means that if any part of the craft was damaged its easy enough to use a different part to do the same job providing the symbols on the part were correct. This is only scraping the surface of wot can be done. Very complicated but also very simple. Would like to get in contact with anyone that thinks my explanation is in anyway right although with a certain few ships found, seen or even made here I know for a fact I am.
