The survey covered China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia and Korea. Extraterrestrial Experiences More than six out of 10 respondents or 64% Asians admitted they believed in intelligent life outside Earth, with 10% saying they had seen a UFO and 3% saying they had had an encounter with aliens.

Among them, 81% Chinese and 70% Hong Kong residents said they believed in intelligent aliens, 13% Indians and 10% Koreans admitted sighting UFOs and 6% Indonesians believed they had had alien encounters.
