Ok, so as to not touch any nerves, (and if I do I apologize in advance) before I offer my critique of this latest news regarding “one of the best [UFO photos] ever taken,” according to
The Sun . . .
ad nauseum; let me prime the pump by admitting that I am guilty of publishing pictures of alleged “ET craft,” as well as UFOs here on the
“Knowledge is Power” web-site; however, I do so
cum grano salis as I take them for just what they are.
In my view a photograph of a distant object “without supportive evidence,” is just that, and is almost “worthless” in regards to evidence of an “unknown craft” of some sort. The examples of “IFOs,” particularly birds, and “flying insects” alleged to be otherwise is to numerous to count.
From Britain,
The Sun reported:
“THIS stunning photo of a UFO over Cornwall was last night hailed by experts as one of the best ever taken in Britain.
The classic flying saucer shape is seen above two ships. And UFO watchers believe it could be proof we are NOT alone.
Kelvin Barbery snapped the mystery object from a coastal path between Swanpool and Maenporth, near Falmouth. In a weird twist, Kelvin, 55, did not even see the UFO at the time.
He thought he was just taking a sea view — but when he loaded the digital camera card on to his computer, the round metallic “craft” was in the centre of the shot, about two miles away.
Hasn’t anyone looked at this pic closely?! Having seen so many that are similar to this one, in my view it is “clearly a bird” flying perpendicular to the camera; the shot is a profile, if you will of a “bird in flight” (again). The wing (upper center) is clearly visible!
Undoubtedly, and sadly much time will be given to this image; this is not to say that these photographs when they pop up should be ignored, but for Britain’s “print news” (one would guess a tabloid) to suggest that this [photo] is “hailed by experts as one of the best ever taken in Britain” is pure flapdoodle, and only mucks up the works for legitimate sightings, and or images.
It seems clear that
“The Sun” realizes the popularity of recent “UFO sightings” in Britain, and is “feeding the fire!”
The Sun further states:
“Nick Pope, one of Britain’s foremost UFO experts, said the photo was one of the best he had seen.”
Quite frankly, “I find this hard to believe,” and will be firing off an inquiry to Nick in short order. (Methinks the paper took some liberties).
In any event, it’s out there, and as sure as the sun will rise tomorrow “some folks” will swear that ET stopped in Britain for fish ‘n’ chips.
