AATIP Crew Handled Kimbler Roswell Debris

Peculiar Material From Roswell Site

Samples of debris reportedly recovered by Frank Kimbler at what he believed to be the vicinity of the storied Roswell crash site were provided to Hal Puthoff's Earth Tech and Robert Bigelow's BAASS, each later named as key figures in a Pentagon-funded UFO investigation project in a much discussed Dec. 16, 2017, NYT article. As many are aware, the Times piece described what came to be known as the Advanced Aviation Threat Identification Program, among other titles, which reportedly operated from at least 2007 through 2011. A 2011 blog post at The UFO Trail suggested Kimbler provided samples for testing to Puthoff and Bigelow, the latter of which the Times

described as directing the modification of buildings in Las Vegas for storing materials recovered from unidentified aerial phenomena. Puthoff informed Kimbler of the availability of funding assistance for possible further testing, according to a 2011 email from Kimbler.

Several websites are effectively pursuing likely sources of claims of stored materials, including blogs written by Keith Basterfield, Jason Colavito, and Robert Sheaffer. Worthy analysis of the "alloys" aspect of the evolving AATIP story was also published at Daily Grail. The Kimbler saga might add yet another piece to the puzzle. Researchers are largely forced to untangle the web on their own, as those claiming to be in the know are selectively releasing incomplete statements, often struggling with reasonable follow up questions if not altogether ignoring them.

As Colavito wrote, writer Leslie Kean, a co-author of the original Times article, had trouble trying to explain what was not classified about the alleged alloys and other aspects of the program. Similarly, the exact origins of the materials in question are unclear, as are their ownership.

The UFO Trail blog post from Sep. 3, 2011, explored some of Kimbler's samples reportedly going missing under unusual circumstances. The post further stated:
Kimbler has previous dealings with Hal Puthoff of Earth Tech and Robert Bigelow's BAASS while attempting to obtain quality analysis of the material he located. Many suspect the debris may be linked to the now famous Roswell crash. Kimbler indicated the analysis has been slow and tedious, and his dealing with both Earth Tech and BAASS raised concerns.
Email exchanges with Kimbler leading up to the blog post include an Aug. 22, 2011, message in which he explained he provided Earth Tech and BAASS with samples. He described both outfits as not forthcoming with information, sometimes requiring months of repeatedly asking the status of tests. He never received any data at all on one particular sample sent to BAASS, Kimbler wrote.

Kimbler added in the 2011 email that an interesting side note occurred when Puthoff of Earth Tech, in spite of being relatively unhelpful with the tests, later wrote Kimbler. According to Kimbler's email, Puthoff suggested financial assistance was available for more analysis if desired. This seemed to leave Kimbler somewhat perplexed as to why adequate testing was not simply conducted on the samples and satisfactorily reported to him in the first place.

Offered an opportunity to comment for this post, Kimbler replied in a June 28, 2018, email, "Everything I said in 2011 is true."

Earth Tech did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The significance of debris found by Kimbler in the New Mexico desert sparked debate within the UFO community. Some believe it to be remnants of a crashed alien spacecraft, while others suspect it may provide clues to what human-manufactured vehicle actually went down that fateful summer of 1947. Others point out the material has not yet been established as necessarily having anything at all to do with the famous Roswell story.

"Some of it could be trash, camper trash, but some of it could be interesting,” said Geologist Frank Kimbler.

Kimbler distinctly remembers the moment he discovered debris from the suspected 1947 UFO crash site.

"Some of the material that I found out there has been tested and it has anomalies that suggest that it might be of extraterrestrial origin,” said Kimbler.

A researcher who discovered peculiar material at the site where many believe an alien spacecraft crashed is saying the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) may be confiscating the material next week. He says he is on the brink of proving the material is of extraterrestrial origins and is seeking help to keep the BLM from stopping his research.

Frank Kimbler teaches Geology and other earth sciences at the high school and college level at the New Mexico Military Institute in Roswell. When he first arrived in Roswell to begin work at the Institute, he says he thought it would be fun to look into the local UFO legend. Roswell is famous for the alleged crash of an extraterrestrial spacecraft in 1947 in the nearby desert. Kimbler examined satellite photos of the area and found areas where it appeared the ground had been burnt. He has searched these areas and has found fragments of material he feels are unusual.

An initial isotopic ratio test done in conjunction with the Roswell International UFO Museum and Research Center was inconclusive, but suggested the material may be of unearthly origins. Kimbler has continued research on the material and says he is close to proving the “ET origins of Roswell.”

However, now the BLM is inquiring about the materials and Kimbler is terrified that they may want to take it from him. Kimbler was recently contacted by them and asked to bring the materials in on Monday, June 25. This news comes less than two weeks before the annual Roswell UFO festival.

Kimbler says the BLM was told about his work when the BLM was looking into plans by festival organizers to take people out the site. However, Kimbler says according to a BLM pamphlet, he is not breaking any of their rules. Indeed the booklet does say it is OK to take a “reasonable” amount of material, barring that it is not historically or culturally significant. The material Kimbler collected would not fit either of these specifications, unless he proves otherwise, which he has not done yet, and will not be able to do if the material is taken from him.

In an email sent to me after a conversation about Kimbler’s concerns, he writes (edited for clarity):
The Bureau of Land Management contacted me today and requested that I bring the artifacts that I found down to their office in Roswell. They want their enforcement officer to look at the material and see if I’m in violation of US laws. [Their] own published document clearly says that anything less than 100 years old is not an artifact. It also says of human origin in all US laws. This a prelude to confiscation or fines or both. Seriously, folks, I’m one scientific test away from proving the ET origins of Roswell.

The meeting with the BLM is Monday morning 10:15 AM in the Roswell District office. Contact your friends especially the ones in high places, send me a good free lawyer and contact as many media people as you can. I want CBS, NBC, ABC, Fox, CNN. I’m serious; the government is attempting to take the material that was found at the crash site. They are trying to stop the research.

This kind of government control needs to stop, and we as Americans have the power to do it. I can’t do by myself. I NEED HELP!
BLM may just be doing their due diligence to make sure Kimbler is in compliance, but Kimbler’s concern is understandable. It would be tragic if he could not continue his work, especially when it does not appear he is breaking any BLM regulations.

Alejandro Rojas     A teacher at the New Mexico Military Institute in Roswell may have discovered the first scientific evidence of manufactured debris made on another planet. Furthermore, this debris was found near the location where pieces from an alleged flying saucer were discovered outside of Roswell in 1947.

Frank Kimbler teaches high school level Earth Sciences and college level Geology at the New Mexico Military Institute in Roswell. He says he has always had an interest in UFOs, and actually had his own unusual sighting in his twenties. So when he moved to Roswell, he decided to put his expertise to the test and take a shot at investigating the most famous UFO incident of all time, the crash at Roswell.

He says his main goal was to find some physical evidence. He started by looking at some satellite imagery of the alleged “debris site.” This is where rancher, Mac Brazel, had told the Air Force he had found pieces of the crashed object. Kimbler used these images to enhance the infra-red in order to highlight areas where the ground was disturbed. He was surprised to find an area that was similar to what witnesses had described. It was about ¾ of a mile long and a few hundred feet wide, and facing the direction witnesses had reported. He also noticed this area had very straight edges, something unusual for a natural occurrence.
