UFOs Beware: We Will Find You

That's right, space aliens, the jig is up. No more zooming into Earth's air space, ringing our doorbell and running away like the neighborhood prankster. We will finally prove you exist, at least if UFO researchers Dave Cote and David Shock have their way.

They've launched a crowdfunding campaign for a UFO-hunting satellite armed with full-spectrum cameras and infrared sensors to monitor flying-saucer activity and show it's no joke. The project is called "CubeSat for Disclosure: Low-Earth Orbit Satellite," (www.cubesat.tech). [...]

UFO Hunting Mini-Satellite Gets Funded

A group of techies have turned to crowd-sourcing in order to fund their idea of a UFO hunting mini-satellite. After an unsuccessful run on the crowd-sourcing website Indiegogo, their second campaign, via Kickstarter, has proven successful, and they have received the funding needed to build and launch their mini-UFO hunting device.

The campaign is called “CubeSat for Disclosure – Low-Earth Orbit Satellite” and is utilizing off-the-shelf technology to develop a relatively cheap observation platform in space.

The Kickstarter campaign sought to raise $10,000, and the group says they already had $16,000 in previous funding. As of the writing of this story, the Kickstarter campaign has raised $10,100.

Even though they have the funding they needed to complete the project, project organizer Dave Shock says they can use all of the funding they can get.

“We made our goal, but we still need donations to help pay for all the other stuff that we will incur as the project proceeds,” said Shock via Facebook. “We still have a few more days left on our campaign so stop by our page and donate a few dollars if you can.” [...]

UFO- Hunting Satellite Is Coming

"We have former astronauts, military personnel, police officers and the former defense minister of Canada come forward stating that extraterrestrial UFOs are real ... How can this be ignored and brushed off as nonsense?"
It seems like every day, a video or image emerges that appears to show a UFO near the International Space Station. And it generally -- OK, always -- turns out not to be a UFO. It's normally space debris, light reflections from the station windows, an antenna attached to the station, etc.

But wouldn't it be interesting if someone actually launched a satellite into Earth orbit (illustrated above), with the specific mission of trying to detect and prove unknown objects are actually out there?

Get ready for CubeSat for Disclosure, a team of researchers brought together by software engineer Dave Cote, who have a common purpose in launching their own satellite: To find and verify a real extraterrestrial craft.
