This video was taken from my apartment in Queens, New York. It takes time to focus, but worth seeing. This is one of the lights that surprised me, it appeared out of nowhere with horizontal forms, turning to be almost vertical. They were slightly rounded.
I observed it for 10 minutes then continued eating dinner. When I looked back they were gone. Does anyone have any idea what they are? One of the lights appeared next to the Empire State Building with the same elongated shape. My wife took it as a joke, but was surprised to see them and could not say what it was. Any ideas? I have seen comets with trails. This stayed in place without changing position. . . .
