That is precisely what the light's creator, a YouTuber who goes by the handle rctestflight, did and the results are pretty spectacular. The DIY rig is heavy so it takes a serious octacopter to get it into the sky, but once it is up there and turns on, it looks like something straight out of a sci-fi flick.
