A gasoline-free expedition across the United States will feature a stop in Amarillo today.
Alternative fuels researcher Cliff Ricketts, an agriculture professor at Middle Tennessee State University, and his team of research assistants will be at Amarillo’s Tractor Supply store, 8511 Canyon Drive, at about 5:30 p.m., according to the retailer. . . .
. . . Fuel sources for the 1994 Toyota Tercel and 2005 Toyota Prius will be hydrogen from water separated by the sun, all produced on the Middle Tennesee State campus at Murfreesboro, Tenn., according to MTSU.
