WASHINGTON TERRACE -- Strange, burning objects floating across the night sky stopped traffic in a Washington Terrace neighborhood and prompted calls to police late Saturday.
Matthew Kamradt, of South Ogden, said he was at a party in the backyard of his brother's home on Ben Lomond Avenue near Spring Street around 11:30 p.m. when he saw the fiery lantern-like objects fly by about 1,000 feet off the ground.
Three other adults and four children at the party also saw the objects that seemed to pass silently overhead at 10-second intervals from south to north at about 70 mph, Kamradt said. . . .
