Perhaps the most interesting and quirky of the mayoral candidates, Jeff Peckman gained a reputation in Denver pushing for a peace initiative, and then asking Denver voters to establish a commission to study preparing for an alien encounter. He would boost the city’s economic development by building a spaceport in the city and creating a currency only for Denver. . . .
