Reported TR-3B (Triangle) Crash Sighting, Witnessed by Family

A Central Valley California Family driving home late Saturday Evening (August 21st, 2010) called the 24 hour hotline of Jeffrey Gonzalez (MUFON State Section Director) to report seeing a “Triangle Shaped Craft” make a hard landing onto the side of a nearby mountain just north of Fresno CA.

While talking to a male witness by phone, the investigator reported over hearing two female witnesses speak in the background describing the lights of the craft. He over heard them saying, “It’s trying to take off, it’s trying to lift!”

He also stated, “When I arrived to the area where the family was, I looked up on the mountain and there were three distinct glowing white lights coming from the area where the family reported seeing the craft; these could be seen on the side of the mountain. What puzzled me was that there are no homes or buildings on the side of that mountain. There is only a small shack used by military utility teams from the nearby base, which is visible during the day.”

The investigator also stated that upon his arrival he immediately began to videotape the event, at the time of this writing it is not known if still photos were taken.

He reported that 15-20 minutes after his arrival multiple unknown vehicles began to congregate on the mountain surrounding the crash site. And within minutes of their arrival he began to see through his camera viewfinder what was definitely a bright bluish-white light quite reminiscent of the output of an arc welder. His immediate thoughts were that the craft was being repaired to resume flight, or disassembled for removal from the area.

The UFO Investigator decided to stay the evening recording all the events. The next morning at 6:00 AM he could see two long scorch marks on the side of the mountain leading up to the shack. And in front of the small shack was a large craft reminiscent of a stingray.

He commented, “At first I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. But it’s exactly as how I describe it; it looked like a stingray shaped air craft .”

Jeffrey Gonzalez reported that the area on the Mountain is private and inaccessible to the public. He and a fellow UFO investigator made several attempts later that morning to get to the site but could not find an access point from any public areas. When they returned to the public vantage point to record the area once again, the craft was gone.

Currently Jeffrey Gonzalez says they are processing the video of the event to make it available for everyone to see at their website.

It should be noted that this event occurred in proximity near the "ANGB/Fresno “Deep Underground Military Base” located at the Fresno Yosemite International Airport, formerly Fresno Air Field. The facility is run by The 144th Fighter Wing of the Air National Guard Base (ANGB), of Fresno California. Interestingly, the 144th Fighter Wing is under the direct oversight of the North American Aerospace Defense Command “NORAD”, which itself is located 2,000 feet deep inside of Cheyenne Mountain, Colorado.

This event comes as a complete surprise as it coincides with Mr. Gonzalez and me (Anthony Sanchez) jointly participating in an Investigative Report on Underground Bases in CA. We’ll be together on location within the week to perform additional research in to the crash and any relation to ANGB/Fresno “Deep Underground Military Base”.

. . . MORE TO FOLLOW.

  1. several people i have spoken with who live in the area are skeptical. it would be nice if a story like this could either have disbursement of updated testimony or a disclaimer of some sort in the the event this is a non-event, and would double up as an aid in the event this was a legitimate story of interest. As it stands, the reporting on this remains cloudy and will continue forth getting more muddied as time elapses. reporting in confidence should not be confused with reporting with high moral standards that the entire ufo field could use more of as generally accepted.

  2. I grew up in Clovis, but it was on the edge of Fresno/Madera Ranchos border where I saw it for the first time. Aug. 6th 2005 it was an incredible sight. I saw in the distance what looked like lights of two planes that might collide so I watched. As I stood there I realized it was coming my direction and it was one craft. It was dark but at the altitude of the plane the slightest bit of light was still getting around the curve of the Earth, enabling me to see the silhouette of this massive chevron shaped craft. I was in complete amazement because A) it should have fallen out of the sky as slow as it was flying B) it was gigantic! C) Chills came over my entire body because it was completely silent. I was awestruck! After that almost every night I'd be outside hoping to see it again. I was like Liones (from the peanuts comic) waiting to see his great pumpkin. My boyfriend at the time thought I was hallucinating due to drugs. (He eventually saw it too) All together I've seen it about 6 times. No two times exactly alike. My closest friends eventually saw it at different times too. Clearing me of any insanity or illicit drug use. I also saw other interesting things during then too. On a regular basis a light like a star would go perfectly straight up from where I believed the air force base to be get to the same altitude each time and then go North right along the mountain range. And when it got to its desired altitude it was a 90-angle change of direction. Then it would continue for what was probably 40-50 miles from the base on this perfect line. Then at the same spot it would stop and hover for 5 to 7 minutes as it illuminated in to this beautiful orb. I described it as a hypnotic self-illuminating disco ball. You could see the many colors clearly. (It was like the star Sirius the way it twinkled but 5 x's bigger) It was gorgeous! Then it would fade back down to what looked like a star and take that direct line back south and then straight down. (3-4 x's a week) My favorite time was the night before my best friends wedding, while making last minute preparations for the big day, I went out on the deck to get fresh air and look at the full harvest moon. In the distance I saw them, those three perfectly spaced lights coming my way. I yelled to my friend come quick, you're going to get to see it!! Just as she got out there it flew directly over the moon. And what did we see, not an eclipsed moon (because it is that big, literally) but what we saw was the moon. She was mind blown! I was even more amazed than ever. It projected the image above it on her underbelly. I was amazing to see with my own eyes!

  3. Around midnight on a Saturday in the winter 1992 two of my friends dropped me off at home. I was 17 then and really had no interest in U.F.O's. I hadn't really ever made up my mind weather I believed in them or not. Well I got some help with that on this particular night and it changed the way I view the world ever since. I am a smoker and I smoked back then as well,my parents do not. So whenever I did I would crack my bedroom window(the kind that open side to side rather than up and down.) and blow the smoke out the top of the crack. While smoking I would stare out at the view. Their house is in a rural area and it is about a third of a mile from the owen/monroe county line road. So from my second floor bedroom window you can see that road running perpendicular to the house. This road is lined by forest with a few houses sprinkled in here and there. So I was smoking and my line of sight as usual was in the general direction of this wooded area. About halfway thru my smoke I was suddenly surprised by a flash of intense white light like that of a camera flash or a strobe light. It was coming from the woods I just described, This light soon morphed into many lights and seemed to be attached to a large object that was silently rising up out of the woods. I would say it was about 40 yards wide.My first thought was "Holy shit UFOs are real!" For those people who have never experienced something like this,it is life changing to say the least, It was like I was let in on a great secret. This thing was as large as our house. It's disorienting to see Something that big hover in midair like that. I stood there watching this thing in amazement when a car approached heading north on countyline.like I said this area is rural and cars driving on this road usually speed, when this car approaches this craft or whatever it slows. I can hear the rubber of its tires on asphalt but this giant lit up thing is making no noise at all! Once the car got fairly close it immediately braked and came to a stop. This person in the car had seen what I was seeing and stopped to look. They only sat there about 20 seconds and then sped off tires squealing. This happened twice more except the other two cars only slowed and didn't stop. After another I don't know maybe five minutes I noticed the UFO looked like it was shrinking but I quickly realized it wasn't shrinking it was just moving very slowly away from me just above the tree line. Eventually it disappeared. I didn't tell anyone about my sighting for about a year and then I told my baby brother Sean,we have always been close and thankfully he believed me. I have never been the type of person to make shit up,in fact a friend of mine told me once that I have the most integrity of anyone he has ever known. So this experience has made me a lot more open-minded.
