It’s Christmas
As we ponder the haste in which the year has passed,
and we express our disdain in aging fast;
it's almost as if god takes our hand,
to make us pause, to understand;
that indeed life is short, and savor it we should,
as the day will come where we wished we could.
It’s during this time, at the end of the year,
when we look back with those so dear;
to cherish the memories of those times in the past,
the loved ones departed and the new life cast.
This occasion that comes once a year,
is the opportunity to pass good cheer.
It’s that spirit of Christmas we wish for you,
to have and enjoy the whole year through.
