Mike Fortson     I’ve had the pleasure of knowing James Fox for over 9 years now; we met at my Gilbert Arizona home where he interviewed me for his documentary film, “Out of the Blue.” As some might know, my lovely wife Nan and I were witnesses to one of the massive UFOs that flew over the great state of Arizona at 8:30 pm MST, on March 13, 1997; the event is commonly (and erroneously) known as “The Phoenix Lights.” James left an incredible impression on me as he quizzed me that day. I remember saying to myself; “this guy really cares and is asking the right questions.”

The interview lasted about 2 hours—finally, a movie producer that has a passion for the truth about “UFOs!” The rest is history, as “Out of the Blue” is by far the best documentary on the subject of the UFO phenomenon available today . . . that is until later this year when “I Know What I Saw” will become available.

I was greatly honored when James asked me to watch and review his latest creation. It’s not everyday a famous Hollywood producer calls and asks this humble witness for his opinion. Thank you James for trusting me!

As a witness to the massive V shaped craft of March 13, 1997, I applaud this film as the FIRST to “fully explain” the difference between the events of the massive contrivances and the 10:00 pm MST videos of high altitude flares.
Finally, there exists a definitive explanation that contrasts an extraordinary event to that of the very mundane action of dropping flares!

Tens of thousands witnessed the 8:00 pm events, while less than 20 actually saw what was filmed on those videos looking southwest from elevated mountain properties around 10:00 pm that night.

Thank you James! You are the first to get it right!

Not only does “I Know What I Saw” spend time on the March 13, 1997 Arizona mass sighting but he goes in great detail about the mass sightings in and near Stephenville, Texas. James got the best witnesses there as well e.g., Ricky Sorrels, Steve Allen and Angela Joiner (the latter being the local reporter who broke the story). There are many similarities between the mass sighting in Arizona and the Stephenville case.

But, most importantly he was able to get the highest caliber of witnesses from government, aeronautics, astronautics and the military from all over the world! This collective represents the utmost in credible witnesses with very powerful information that in my view is evidentiary that a percentage of UFO reports are extraterrestrial in origin! All these high level witnesses met in Washington D.C. at the National Press Club. Their evidence is overwhelming!

The goal is simple: Dear US Government; please open your UFO files and tell the world the truth. We can handle it.

  1. Please allow me, as a member herein, to make a serious comment on the new movie by James Fox, "I know what I saw."
    * I was introduced to Mr. Fox's "Out of the Blue," by my kind, gracious friend, Mike Fortson, who entrusted me with his personal copy and the 2nd CD, the "directors cut" as well, which I totally agree with Mike on the caliber of THAT documentary. I returned Mike's copy as promised and still am honored to be considered his friend, as he knows that I am equally his trusted and honored to be his friend.
However, I must disagree with Mike on James Fox's latest venture of, "I know what I saw" as I watched it tonight on The History channel.
To wit: The first hour of the show was almost completely out-takes from the original, "Out of the Blue," with only Mr. Fox's voice-over being something new, along with some witnesses that didn't make the first film, but most were repeated faces and their accounts.
The last segment of the first hour tonight included a dinner scene of some of the more popular aka UFO Experts, and then there were out-takes from the 2007 Press Club presentation, most of which I have also seen in other programs with the same talking heads: the folks who get paid to appear at UFO gatherings where the tickets can reach up to $125.00 a seat, not to mention all of the memorabilia that is always for sale.
** In the 2nd hour: more out takes form "O. O. T. Blue," with the exception of some of the also more popular Stephenville witnesses from the aka "Stephenville Lights" event, which I was a witness to of the now infamous night of 01/08/2008, although I was in Cleburne, TX., 70 miles east of Stephenville, when Angelia Joiner of the Stephenville newspaper did a Front Page interview with me.
Then there was yet another out-take of astronaut Gordon Cooper, which was in "O.O.T.Blue" as well.
Otherwise, there were some very informative facts that the general public has no idea of, which was a good thing, including the experts from France, the U.K., Russia and other countries, and the actual witnesses from the U.S. Air Force's infamous "Rendlesham Forest Event" that those unaware of would find most exciting, yet, for those of us who are many year veterans of Ufology; this all was really nothing new.
*** Being a 40 plus-year Ufologist, a UFO witness/former TV-News E.N.G. photographer/production director/research writer and of my own undisputed broad daylight UFO sightings and footage of June, 1995 that made, itself, Front Page newspapers in worldwide news: I felt let-down by Mr. Fox's production as a followup to the greater "Out Of the Blue" production itself.
~ Albeit true that we have the Right to know the truths surrounding the history of UFOs as tax-paying-voting citizens of the world; we just may have to rely upon each others research and investigations to ever learn of these ultimate truths, unless and until there is a worldwide landing by visitors from a.k.a 'other worlds' carried then by live TV news: we may never be told by the governments what we want to know: do they exist? When really; we all know that they do. Therefore, why should we assume that it would take our respective governments 'telling' or, 'admitting' to us that they are real before the masses, or even us, believe it to be fact?
As I have stated on over 125 radio and TV interviews for the past 20 years: "I do not put limitations upon the creative powers of God to give life elsewhere, at differing stages to development. To do so, would make God smaller than we are."
I pray for a better understanding from the debunkers and decanters who doubt God's creative powers I mentioned, or, are they really afraid to know this profound truth?
Thank you for considering this professional comment.
