NBC TODAY weekend show host, Lester Holt, Producer Kim Cornett and a film crew from New York were in Roswell last week to interview local UFO Researcher Dennis Balthaser for an upcoming segment to air Saturday, Feb 23 on the TODAY show. Holt requested the interview to discuss Area 51 and the 1947 Roswell Incident with Balthaser, in front of Bldg. 84 at the Roswell Industrial Air Center, which was referred to as Hangar 84 at the Roswell Army Air Field in 1947. Balthaser said he was impressed with the questions Holt asked and the professionalism of the film crew. Host Lester Holt told Balthaser he had studied his website

Balthaser will also be emcee at the 11th Annual Aztec New Mexico UFO Symposium
www.aztecufo.com March 28-30, 2008. He has been involved every year since 1997, as either a speaker or emcee for the annual event, which is sponsored by the friends of the Aztec Public Library. Balthaser thinks this years list of speakers is the best ever invited to the event, and will include: Stanton Friedman, Jesse Marcel Jr., Timothy Good. Ted Phillips, Ken Storch, James Carrion and Scott Ramsey. The alleged Aztec crash occurred in March 1948, 9 months after the Roswell Incident.
Balthaser has also been asked to speak at the Roswell Festival scheduled for July 2008.
