     Arguably, there isn’t anyone more erudite in regards to UFOs and or reports thereof in or around nuclear weapons facilities, e.g., missile bases etc., then Robert Hastings and or Bob Salas. Although they didn’t know it at the time, UFO events that occurred at or near Malmstrom AFB in 1967 would not only change their respective lives forever, but would later link them together in a life long search for the truth.

Hastings has built a reputation as an astute UFO researcher, lecturer and as of late book author: UFOs & Nukes: Extraordinary Encounters at Nuclear Weapons Sites; he has interviewed over 120 former and or retired US Air Force personnel regarding their eyewitness accounts and involvement is such cases.

He is a popular speaker in the college lecture circuit having appeared at over 500 colleges across the continental United States, and has appeared on numerous radio and television shows, most recently as a guest on The Larry King Show with former missleer, witness and researcher Bob Salas.

Salas has been most active himself in the search for the truth and he too has penned a must read book pertaining to the UFO events that took place while on duty at a nuclear missile base entitled, Faded Giant, co-authored with Jim Klotz.

Together Hastings & Salas are organizing a presentation, bringing together for the first time several of the witnesses of UFO activity at various nuclear weapons bases; this event will be held later this year at The National Press Club in Washington D.C.

     I am proud to announce the formation of The Center for UFO Truth (CUT).

CUT is not a UFO organization nor is it affiliated in any way with Ufology. Instead CUT is a historical research organization focused on examining the question long ignored by historians - was the UFO subject purposely created by the United States and its allies as part of a cold war operation and perpetuated to this day for national security reasons?

CUT will focus its efforts on research in official government archives, not only in the United States but all over the world, searching for authenticated official documents that can prove or disprove this theory. CUT will work closely with Cold War and Intelligence Historians and collaborate with foreign governments willing to contribute to CUT's efforts.

CUT will work outside of the three ring circus that is Ufology and will not accept the contributions of anonymous individuals or alleged whistleblowers nor will it examine alleged leaked documents.

Unfortunately,the field of Ufology has nothing to show for more than 60 years of investigation and research. By not adhering to professional evidentiary standards, Ufology will neither join the halls of academia nor will it discover what truly lies behind the subject of UFOs.

Believers will continue to believe, debunkers will continue to summarily dismiss, but the true skeptics who are willing to dig deep will be rewarded with the truth.

     The meeting was opened by Cynthia Siegel who made announcements of upcoming speakers. She said that Mary Barr, hypnotherapist, will offer FREE sessions to our group respectively. She circulated the latest MUFON journal and a booklet of flyers showing previous speakers and their topics. She also passed out The UFO TV catalogue, which contains a plethora of videos and DVDs relating to the paranormal. Additionally, she made a petition available to sign, which dealt with Chem-Trails, along with Conspirator-Con order forms.

New people were introduced: Devlin Rugne, who has just moved to the Stockton area from Oregon where she was Chief Investigator; and Vivian Walker who has begun photographing orbs and who will be a future presenter showing some of her photos.

Following the introductions and associated pleasantries, Cynthia introduced the speaker of the day, Janice Stork, who is the Author of the books The Earth Is Not My Home and Footprints of the Capitol Astrologer; while a legislative aide for the state, Mrs. Stork was influential in getting the practice of Astrology legalized.

Janice opened her remarks with the statement that it takes a lot of courage to stand up and speak in front of people because of the ethereal nature of her experiences. Her ‘spirit guide’ has, I gather, advised her to become involved with MUFON, which she acknowledged she had little knowledge of until she saw Shirley Wheeler on a local TV program. She added that on attending her first MUFON meeting, her guide advised her to sit next to Mary Barr, who subsequently agreed to do a regression for Janice, but she did not reveal the results of that session.

Janice also speaks of channeling to (or through) an ET, who explained to her that they were here to travel about the world and attempt to unify its people – in hopes of eliminating strife and war? (Something most of us wish for, I’m sure).

Janice wrote her book, The Earth Is Not My Home, at the demand of her spirit guide, saying that until she did so she had never fully understood the extent or purpose of her involvement with UFOs. She feels that writing her book has allowed her to grow spiritually and to develop her psychic abilities.

While an aide for the state, Janice met a psychic who told her that she (Janice) had once lived on a different planet and made the statement “I want to go home” which Janice feels pertains to her also. It was about this time that she began to realize that the stories of UFOs, ET, etc. were true; that there are many on this planet that feel as if it is not ‘home’ to them.

At Easter time in 1997 she was in Palmdale, Ca., and, walking across little hills of sand, was instructed by her guide to draw the symbols of two arrows, one pointing upward, the other down and enclose them in a circle, then raise her hands, palm outward to shoulder level. Her hands were throbbing and she was then told why ET’s are here. The triangle formation so often described in sightings was EXPLAINED AS THE Earth being at the top and two other galaxies to complete the triangle; but there was no specific reason why.

She was also told some of what ETs are like; that they use mental communication and are constantly connected to each other so that they know when another ET is in trouble or has expired. She speaks of the ‘sound’ of a spaceship. She told of watching two silver ships circling one another near Watt and Fair Oaks in Sacramento , saying that they made figure eights and that she watched them for some time.

The last part of her talk was devoted to explaining the astrological charts she had passed out. She said making and studying such charts could predict events.

The message of her speech seems to be that one can contact ETs through astrology and other psychic means, and learn from them how to improve life here on Earth.

     I live in a small town in Canada called north bay. The g8 summit is supposed to pass through here this weekend on it's way to huntsville.

Last night between 11 and 12 me and 4 other witness's saw numerous pairs of lights. They would move in a way nothing can move except an insect. They would dance with each other almost then disappear.

Then we would see another pairing. By the end we had seen 3 pairs and very last a extremly visibly green tinged light move in almost and x pattern then disappear.

I'm a 19 year old female.

Was there anyone else who saw things this night?

I wasn't really sure where to report this. A friend if mine told me about this site

Many politicians and office holders -especially today- are held in public disdain for their lies about so many things. But some rise above the rest as genuine public servants. They have spoken of the need for truth about the ultimate deceit- the coverup of fallen extraterrestrials at Roswell. A review of their telling statements and actions -and a newly uncovered revealing photo- show a deep concern about the event throughout the years. From Senators and DC insiders to U.S. Governors - up to the highest office- there have been those who are in power who wish to empower us with the knowledge that we are not alone in the Universe. They provide clues to the greatest secret: that craft and bodies from another world were made known to man many decades ago.

Of course the politician most closely associated with investigation into the crash is the late New Mexico US Congressman Steven Schiff. Schiff pressed the US GAO (General Accounting Office) to conduct an independent audit of any extant records or materials that the govenment may have had that related to the crash. Though he passed in 1998, his call to truth on Roswell continues to echo through the hintful voices of several prominent and valiant civil servants:

     Persons familiar with my work know that I investigate nuclear weapons-related UFO activity. Over the past 37 years, I have interviewed more than 120 former or retired U.S. military personnel who were involved in UFO incidents at nuclear missile sites, weapons storage depots, strategic bomber bases, or atmospheric test sites in Nevada and the Pacific. Many of my findings are available at my website, www.ufohastings.com. A more comprehensive summary may be found in my 600-page book UFOs and Nukes: Extraordinary Encounters at Nuclear Weapons Sites.

Following the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, a number of ex-Soviet Army personnel came forward and began discussing their involvement in similar incidents in that country during the Cold War era. One of those events occurred on October 4, 1982, near the Ukrainian town of Byelokoroviche, when a disc-shaped UFO apparently hovered over a nuclear missile base for an extended period. At one point during the encounter, a number of nuclear missiles suddenly activated—without authorization from Moscow or any action being taken by the missile launch officers—and were preparing to launch! Had they done so, World War III would have very probably been underway. Fortunately, after 15 seconds, the anomalous activation ceased and the missiles returned to stand-by status. A subsequent investigation by the Soviet government discovered no equipment malfunctions that would have explained the event.

This incident was first publicized in October 1994, on the American ABC News program Prime Time Live (which unethically used KGB documents and source leads provided to its producers by KLAS-TV reporter George Knapp, without crediting his contributions).. More recently, on June 16, 2010, a large-circulation Russian newspaper, Life, published an article about the case, which may be found at http://zhizn.ru/articles/show/192. A badly-mangled English translation of the article, courtesy of Google, is also available.

One of the paper’s reporters, Inessa Kornienko, interviewed hitherto unidentified witnesses who provided additional details about the incident. While preparing the article, Kornienko contacted me and asked if I were aware of the case. I told her that not only did I know about it, I had once interviewed a former U.S. Air Force nuclear missile launch officer, David H. Schuur, who had described a very similar event at Minot AFB, North Dakota, in the mid-1960s. A verbatim summary of Schuur’s revelations may be found here.

Kornienko incorporated some of my remarks in the Life article, and noted the obvious similarity between the two cases. Because Google’s Russian-to-English translation is so torturous, and thoroughly incomprehensible at times, I asked the reporter for a few clarifications, which she provided, so that a more user-friendly translation might be achieved. The result follows here.

The Life Article:

UFO Hacked Nuclear Codes
Russia and the USA were on the brink of nuclear war because of UFO attacks on military bases where nuclear missiles were on alert.

Sensational documents and other evidence confirm that the Soviet military base near Byelokoroviche, Ukraine, and the U.S. Air Force base near Minot, North Dakota, were attacked by aliens from space. Hovering over the missiles, [in each incident,] a UFO in a matter of seconds hacked the codes required to launch them, nearly unleashing a Third World War. Journalists working for Life found revealing documents about [the Ukrainian incident] and located eyewitnesses to the alien attack.

For a 20-year-old radio operator, Vladimir Matveyev, assigned to the 50th Missile Division RVSN, Carpathian Military District, October 4, 1982 was a day that he will remember for the rest of his life. In the evening, he and a thousand soldiers and officers saw a UFO for almost an hour, as it hovered over the R-12 missile silos. “It was unbelievable. Approximately one-and-a-half kilometers from us hovered an elliptical-shaped object,” the former rocketeer excitedly told Life. “The dimensions of the UFO shocked us—as large as a five-story house! Barely-visible lights flew up to the object. The guys [and I] were on our way to dinner when we all saw it! The UFO continued to hover, slowly moving to the left, as if drifting. One officer tried to get closer to it in a car but the UFO flew away. At this time all of the missile launchers malfunctioned. The UFO [also] blocked radio signal reception in the bunker. We heard only complete silence, which we could not understand, because this had never happened before. We were [later] told that the radio equipment was burnt!”

The Report
In his official statement on the incident, Major Michael Katzman, who was responsible for the missiles’ guidance systems, reported that the computer equipment and security systems had been disabled by a powerful [electromagnetic] pulse. He wrote that all of the control panels had [suddenly] lit up, indicating the missiles were preparing to launch toward their strategic targets.

Former TsSBUiS [missile division] Chief Yuri Zolotukhin told a Life journalist, “I too was a witness to these events and also saw the UFO, but could not reveal what had happened to the sensitive equipment because I signed a non-disclosure document [designed to] protect state secrets.” These events happened in the underground bunker where the missile control panels display the missiles’ readiness status. [During the incident] the panels lit up, indicating that the missiles had gone to full combat readiness and were preparing to launch. [Ordinarily] this is possible only after obtaining an order from Moscow. In this case, it happened by itself. The officers on duty at their battle stations were shocked. [Figuratively speaking,] their hair had turned gray. They said that the information appearing on the control panels indicated that all security measures designed to prevent an unauthorized launch of the missiles had been hacked! Within just a few seconds, the launch officers had lost control over their nuclear weapons. Immediately after this occurred, the officers called Moscow. The reply they got was that no order to launch had been issued. After 15 seconds, all of the controls reset to the normal position.

[Former] rocketeer Vladimir Matveyev says, “A few days later, a commission came to the base and interviewed the witnesses. The guys gave them their drawings of the UFO. One of the officers swore on his [Communist] Party membership that he wasn't drunk. A few days later we were lined up [for our morning inspection by our officers] and read an order from the Commander-in-Chief of the Strategic Rocket Forces, designated number R010, which said, ‘If you see a UFO, do not panic and do not shoot.’ Then I realized why the officers who had their finger ‘on the button’ looked so old and had gray hair.”

USA
A U.S. Air Force base in Minot, North Dakota, once experienced a similar incident, this Life journalist was told by American UFO investigator, 60-year-old Robert Hastings. He is the author of research on UFO activity at strategic nuclear facilities. Hastings personally spoke with a [former] Intercontinental Ballistic Missile commander, [then] Lieutenant David Schuur. “Schuur told me that in 1966 he was involved in an event in which an Unidentified Flying Object repeatedly activated [the launch sequence in his] missiles,” says the ufologist. “Schuur told me that his missile guards had informed him that a big bright object was [moving from missile to missile]. When the UFO [hovered over] a [given] missile, his control panel indicated that it was preparing to launch. This meant that somehow it had received a launch authorization. Every time that happened, Schuur had to manually enter a launch ‘Inhibit’ command. The UFO seemed to be scanning the missiles [because various other functions were temporarily activated as well]. The next day, Schuur’s commanders said that there was nothing to discuss.”

I think [the UFO] technology allows [their pilots] to launch our missiles. However, they choose not to do so. Cases such as Byelokoroviche and Minot [suggest] that aliens are trying to understand how these systems work, and what they need to do in the event of war breaking out, to stop the feuding children, i.e., us. I believe that the UFO [pilots], by running the rockets’ pre-launch countdown, learned how to stop it.
