Balthaser (pronounced Ball-thay-sir) is highly regarded as a leading investigator and UFOlogist by his peers, and is also a popular symposium speaker and editorial columnist. In 1996, Balthaser retired from a 33-year civil engineering career and settled in Roswell, NM where he served as a board member and official UFO Investigator for the International UFO Museum before becoming an independent researcher, journalist and lecturer. Balthaser is a certified UFO investigator with the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) and is a member of the advisory board for the Great Pyramid of Giza Research Association. His main areas of research include the 1947 Roswell Incident, Area 51, Underground Bases and the pyramids of Egypt.
