Second UFO Witness Comes Forward

A bird-watcher believes he may have seen
the same UFO spotted in Montrose last week.

... a separate spotter has added fuel to the fire saying he, too, saw something in the sky he struggles to explain.

The man, who asked not to be named, says he was looking at the

skyline above the V&A Museum on Tuesday afternoon when he spotted something “thin and oblong”.

He said: “I do a bit of bird watching so always carry a small pair of binoculars.

“I was looking towards the V&A when something caught my eye.

“I saw this very slow-moving object with white lights which were rotating round it.

“It looked as if it was flying from Fife towards Dundee.”

The spotter does not believe the object was either a plane or a drone, saying it was flying too high to be either.

“It had no distinguishing wings,” he said. ...

Alien Craft Photographed By Fife Man?

A Fife man says he had a close encounter with an extraterrestrial aircraft — and has the photo to prove it.

John Macdonald says a UFO hovered above his head in the night-time Perthshire sky, making the noise of "a thousand hoovers".

The quick-thinking Fifer managed to take a snap of the aerial object before it disappeared “in the beat of a heart”.

The 65-year-old from Dysart is convinced he saw an extraterrestrial aircraft at rural Rossie Ochil, to the south of Perth.

“It’s definitely a spacecraft of some sort,” he told The Courier. “I don’t know whether I frightened it or not with the flash of the camera, because in the beat of a heart it was gone.”

It happened at around 11pm on Sunday February 28 when he was driving home after visiting a friend.

31 UFO Sightings in Kingdom

Looking Up (Three)

IN the past nine years, Fifers have spotted 31 unidentified flying objects (UFOs) in the Kingdom's skies, according to latest figures released by the Ministry of Defence.

And while possible UFOs are most common around the Glenrothes and Levenmouth areas, Kirkcaldy residents spotted two above the town – one in January 2001 and the second in September 2002.

One of the most recent UFOs was recorded in Lochgelly in 2005, where there was a report of bright white lights moving in semi-circles.

The Ministry of Defence (MoD) noted in 2005 there were 156 sightings across Britain, four of which were in Fife.

Director of East 2 West UFO Society, Scotland's largest UFO investigation group, Harry Sommerville has had a large number of members reporting sightings in the Kingdom.

He said: "I investigated the sighting of a metallic coloured sphere over Rosyth naval base last year. A photographer in Fife had contacted me and gave me photographs of his sighting.

"The MoD told me there was no military activity that day in the area although a Fife newspaper reported jets criss-crossing the Forth all that day as if looking for something.."

The MoD examines reports solely to establish whether UK airspace may have been compromised by hostile or unauthorised military activity. If required, sighting reports are examined with the assistance of air defence experts but unless there is evidence of a potential threat, there is no attempt to identify the nature of each reported sighting.

The majority of occurences are described as bright objects in the sky.
