THE Mercury has been inundated with calls from people across the borough that spotted the UFO hovering in the skies over Gorleston.9-4-07
The mysterious black, fiery object was originally spotted by GYB Services worker Stewart Davis near Brasenose Avenue on August 24. Mr Davis managed to get a picture of the telephone box shaped object on his phone, featured in the Mercury last week.
Since then dozens of people have contacted the Mercury claiming to have also seen it in Hemsby.
Many explanations have been put forward to what the object could be from a home made hot air balloon to a Chinese lantern or a toy.
