Drones Reported Near a Known Nuclear Military Site


     Several drone flights were detected near the nuclear military site Ile Longue, home to nuclear submarines equipped with ballistic missiles, according to L'Observateur. . . .

. . . "In recent days, drones were detected near the site of Long Island," said the maritime prefecture of the Atlantic. A prohibited area.

These flights occurred "during the nights of 26 to 27 and 27," the spokesman for the maritime prefecture, Lieutenant Commander Lionel Delort, reported.

. . . According to The Telegram, the alarm was raised at 8 am Tuesday, when a rifleman . . . in the security perimeter surrounding the base . . . saw a drone flying over the area.
