MY UFO EXPERIENCE:
Silvery, 'Arch Shaped' UFO Spotted Over Pataskala, Ohio

UFO (Arch Shaped) Over Pataskala, OH

I live in Pataskala, OH. Yesterday after I picked my son up at school we were driving North to go home. A flash in the sky caught my attention. (It was a bright, sunny cloudless sky). I looked up and there was a silvery arch of metal in the sky with a ball of bright light at one end. It looked kind of shimmery and maybe even partially transparent.

The ball of light was on my right and flashed really bright right before it all blinked out. It was gone almost as soon as I saw it. Totally gone, not a trace of any kind of trail or exhaust or anything. It was there and in a blink of an eye it wasn't! It was like a half circle but not a perfect half and it hung at an angle like the ball of light was tipping it.

My son did not see it but neither of us heard any sound whatsoever. Any way, that is my experience.

Dr. Edgar Mitchell To President Obama:
End Truth Embargo On UFOs and The Extraterrestrial Presence!

PRG X-Conference Logo
By Stephen Bassett
Executive Director
Paradigm Research Group
4-22-09

Washington, DC – On Monday at the National Press Club Dr. Edgar Mitchell called upon the new Democratic administration under President Barack Obama to end a six-decade long truth embargo imposed by elements within the United States government and confirm to the American people the reality of an extraterrestrial, non-human intelligence engaging the human race.

Scientist, test pilot, naval officer, astronaut, entrepreneur, author and lecturer, Dr. Mitchell's extraordinary career has been a constant quest to explore and understand the world in which we live. His academic background includes a Bachelor of Science from Carnegie Mellon University, a Bachelor of Science from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School and a Doctor of Science in Aeronautics and Astronautics from MIT. He has received honorary doctorates in engineering from New Mexico State University, the University of Akron, Carnegie Mellon University and a ScD from Embry-Riddle University. Dr. Mitchell has received many awards and honors including the Presidential Medal of Freedom and nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize and was inducted into the Space Hall of Fame in 1979 and the Astronaut Hall of Fame in 1998.

Following Dr. Mitchell, Dr. Milton Torres, Major USAF (ret.), related an incident in 1957 while serving in the United Kingdom wherein he was ordered to shoot down a “UFO” which registered on his radar as possibly the size of an “aircraft carrier” and demonstrated extraordinary maneuverability. He was subsequently warned by an intelligence staffer to never speak of the incident to anyone or else lose his flying status. He only spoke out when the report of the incident turned up in a series of UFO file released last year into the public domain by the British government. Dr. Torres called upon the new Democratic administration under President Barack Obama to declassify and release all “UFO” related documents in government files to the American people. In this he mirrored very similar demands previously made by former Clinton advisor and chief of staff, John Podesta, and New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson.

Following Dr. Torres, Nick Pope, a former Senior Executive Officer with the United Kingdom Ministry of Defence, who directly investigated the UFO issue while working for the MoD, related how media coverage in the UK of the extraterrestrial/UFO issue has exploded over the past twelve months due to the timed release of thousands of documents and sighting reports by the British government into the public domain. He gave a review of the current status of the issue in his country

MY UFO EXPERIENCE:
Another Huge, Low Flying Craft Spotted Over Phoenix

My UFO Experience

4-21-09

I was talking to Mike Fortson this evening. By the way my name is Xxx Xxxxxxxx. I reside in Toledo, Ohio. I have never talked about the UFO i saw on a hot summer night in Phoenix, Arizona. I am starting to talk about it now and also I am going to draw a picture of what I saw. I am a carpenter and have some engineering background.

I know what i saw and also the size of it. It also had railings all the way around it. The craft was huge but my minimum estimate is it was L shapped. The long part of the L was about 6 football fields long the short part of the L was about 200' long the depth was about 9-10' and it had a railing about 5' tall all the way around it. The railings had a light at every post all the way around the craft. The lights were like solar lights and were the color of solor lights. They seemed to be to give some light to the deck of the craft and not for avation or anything like that. The craft had NO MOTOR, No power noise of any kind it was just like it was smoothly glidding across the earth and it was right in front of my face like 100-150' above me moving to the south-east over phoenix.

I am going to draw a picture of it in the best detail i can and i am going to have a artist or someone color it in for me till i get it the best i can. This has been a awsome experience and i have held it in for many years as i thought no person would understand me. I also thought people would think i was crazy. At this time in my life I dont care what anyone says. I am going to draw it and share my experience with anyone that wants to know about it.

ET is Here, and Goverment is Concealing The Truth, Says Former Astronaut Edgar Mitchell

Flying Saucer on The Moon
Former astronaut: Man not alone in universe

By CNN International
4-20-09

Edgar Mitchell     (CNN) -- Earth Day may fall later this week, but as far as former NASA astronaut Edgar Mitchell and other UFO enthusiasts are concerned, the real story is happening elsewhere.

Mitchell, who was part of the 1971 Apollo 14 moon mission, asserted Monday that extraterrestrial life exists, and that the truth is being concealed by the U.S. and other governments.

He delivered his remarks during an appearance at the National Press Club following the conclusion of the fifth annual X-Conference, a meeting of UFO activists and researchers studying the possibility of alien life forms.

Mankind has long wondered if we're "alone in the universe. [But] only in our period do we really have evidence. No, we're not alone," Mitchell said.

"Our destiny, in my opinion, and we might as well get started with it, is [to] become a part of the planetary community. ... We should be ready to reach out beyond our planet and beyond our solar system to find out what is really going on out there."

Mitchell grew up in Roswell, New Mexico, which some UFO believers maintain was the site of a UFO crash in 1947. He said residents of his hometown "had been hushed and told not to talk about their experience by military authorities." They had been warned of "dire consequences" if they did so.

But, he claimed, they "didn't want to go to the grave with their story. They wanted to tell somebody reliable. And being a local boy and having been to the moon, they considered me reliable enough to whisper in my ear their particular story."

Roughly 10 years ago, Mitchell claimed, he was finally given an appointment at Pentagon to discuss what he had been told.

An unnamed admiral working for the Joint Chiefs of Staff promised to uncover the truth behind the Roswell story, Mitchell said. The stories of a UFO crash "were confirmed," but the admiral was then denied access when he "tried to get into the inner workings of that process."

The same admiral, Mitchell claimed, now denies the story.

"I urge those who are doubtful: Read the books, read the lore, start to understand what has really been going on. Because there really is no doubt we are being visited," he said.

"The universe that we live in is much more wondrous, exciting, complex and far-reaching than we were ever able to know up to this point in time."

A NASA spokesman denied any cover-up.

"NASA does not track UFOs. NASA is not involved in any sort of cover-up about alien life on this planet or anywhere else -- period," Michael Cabbage said Monday.

Debates have continued about what happened at Roswell. The U.S. Air Force said in 1994 that wreckage recovered there in 1947 was most likely from a balloon-launched classified government project.

Stephen Bassett, head of the Paradigm Research Group (PRG), which hosted the X-Conference, said that the truth about extraterrestrial life is being suppressed because it is politically explosive.

"There is a third rail [in American politics], and that is the UFO question. It is many magnitudes more radioactive than Social Security ever dreamed to be," Bassett said.

More 'Case Hosed' Skank

Roswell Report Case Closed
By Billy Cox
De Void
4-17-09

Billy Cox     In this 40th year since the USAF abandoned its public UFO studies and went underground, maybe it’s time to time to trot out some sort of commemorative Greatest Hits in Lame-o Denials anthology.

The 2008 Stephenville fiasco leaps immediately to mind, and Gerald Haines’ “CIA’s Role in the Study of UFOs 1947-90” was an instant classic in its attempts to blame it all on the mistaken identities of SR-71 and U-2s.

But for epic status in the Theatre of the Insipid, the USAF’s “Roswell Report: Case Closed” is like Sinatra, Elvis, James Brown, Don Ho and Maria Callas all rolled into one.

Like “Nightmare on Elm Street” or “Friday the 13th,” the “Case Closed” report is the third sequel in the Roswell franchise that began in 1947 with a press release stating that a crashed disc had been recovered in the desert. Hours later, Roswell Army Air Field put the kibosh on the initial euphoria over its technology coup with a weather balloon cover story.

In 1994, under pressure from a New Mexico congressman, the USAF ejaculated a new riff, that what field investigators discovered was actually Project Mogul, a secret balloon train with monitors designed to record any evidence of Soviet nuclear activity. It was informally known as the “Final Word” report.

Three years later, with the 50th anniversary of its initial press release bearing down, the “Case Closed” rendering amended the Project Mogul story with its most regrettable contortion yet: Witnesses who reported seeing alien bodies were confused by anthropomorphic balloon-drop dummies, an experimental program that began in 1954, seven years after the Roswell event.

Even the MSM, which relegates UFOs to a couple of rungs lower than celebrity skank, howled when author Capt. James McAndrew released that stink bomb in 1997.

McAndrew’s punch-bowl floater resurfaced last week when researcher Tony Bragalia posted his interview with one of the fall guys at http://www.ufocon.blogspot.com/. Turns out that retired USAF Lt. Col. Raymond Madson is still steamed about how McAndrew used him a dozen years ago.

“I hadn’t read the report in years,” says Bragalia from his home in Florida. “I knew when it initially came out that was totally absurd, but when I picked it up and re-read Madson’s statement, I thought, this is a reasonably intelligent man, and he’s linked to a story that even a 5-year-old would laugh at.

“So I gave him a call, and he went on and on. He just had to vent.”

Madson, 79, was directing the USAF’s crash-test dummy program in the 1950s, called Project High Dive. His “Case Closed” affadavit provided a routine recounting of his role in the air drops over New Mexico’s outback. When he read how McAndrew was suggesting that 6-foot tall dummies could be mistaken for significantly smaller alien cadavers reported from a decade earlier, Madson hit the roof. He told Bragalia he repeatedly tried calling McAndrew, to no avail.

“I didn’t trust McAndrew. In fact, I don’t even like him,” said Madson, who suspects the military was telling the truth in the first press release that ignited the enduring controversy. “I don’t like the way that he operates.” He accused McAndrew of being “sent on a mission” to “produce a specific directive.” Read: debunking.

This is all old news, and amid the larger patterns of official obfuscation, a mere morsel. What it suggests is that there are more gems to be mined in the fine print, and that the Greatest Hits will keep getting better and better.

The Roswell Report, Ray Madson, and Project High Dive

Project High Dive Anthropomorphic Dummy Launch
By Kevin D. Randle
A Different Perspective
© 4-12-09

In a posting to http://www.ufocon.blogspot.com/ hosted by the RRR Group and written by Tony Bragalia it was claimed that the "Lt. Colonel who was a major contributor to the Air Force’s official 1997 study that concluded the Roswell ET crash of 1947 is a ‘myth’ – now states that the Air Force’s Roswell report is itself a lie."

According to Bragalia, Lt. Col. Raymond Madson told him that he, Madson, had been the Project Officer for Project High Dive at Holloman Air Force Base from 1956 to 1960 and that he was responsible for dropping the anthropomorphic dummies that lead the Air Force to conclude that these dummies were responsible for the tales of alien bodies recovered in 1947. Madson now says that Captain James McAndrew, who was one of those responsible for the Air Force report, was less than candid in what he said about Madson’s testimony.

In fact, according to Bragalia, Madson said that "the report he signed for McAndrew (which appears in the report) was accurate, but that – in the context of the overall Air Force report – it is misleading. Madson feels that he was ‘used for purposes’ and that his intent was misrepresented – he did not ‘buy into’ the idea of his ‘Air Force dummies as aliens.’ Madson adds that the dummies had tags on them with instructions for getting a $25 reward for their return."

There is some interesting information in that paragraph including that there was a reward for the return of the dummies. But what caught my eye was Madson’s belief that McAndrew had used him. That there had been some manipulation of the data so that the Air Force could reach the conclusion that it wanted.

Bragalia said that Madson confirmed that, saying, "McAndrew was on a mission... and was assigned to carry out a directive... Was McAndrew on a mission to uncover the truth about Roswell?... No, he was on a mission."

Madson, in fact, according to what Bragalia published on the UFOcon blog, believes that what fell at Roswell was extraterrestrial. Madson said that he had an uneasy feeling about the whole investigation and wondered why the Air Force felt compelled to do it.

Ironically, that is the same thing that the late UFO debunker Philip Klass wondered. Why would the Air Force give any legitimacy to claims that something from another world fell at Roswell if there was nothing to the story? Why would the Air Force even care?

But here’s the thing. Bragalia, through Madson, has raised a couple of questions that haven’t been discussed for a number of years. These revolve around the whole Air Force investigation of Roswell. And here is where I can interject some personal experience.

McAndrew called me on a number of occasions. He never seemed to be looking for information, though I told him what Edwin Easley, the Roswell provost marshal had told me. I said I would send copies of the tapes and the transcripts but he was uninterested. I suggested he talk with Brigadier General Arthur Exon, a retired Air Force officer who had some very interesting things to say. I thought he should talk to Patrick Saunders who had been the adjutant at Roswell in 1947, but he never did.

Instead he tried to get me to flip. He said that he could understand my making a buck on Roswell but I could tell him the truth. I didn’t really believe that little green men had been killed in a crash there, did I? He told me repeatedly that no one would think less of me if I told the truth about my motives in the Roswell investigation. I tried to make it clear to him that my conclusions were based on the interviews I had conducted with those involved and that I could put him in touch with many of them. He was not interested.

Can we deduce the Air Force motive, beyond what my impressions were and what Tony Bragalia just discovered in his interview with Madson. Of course. Just take a look at who was interviewed. The Air Force could have talked to a number of high-ranking officers who had been in Roswell in July 1947 and others who had been at Wright Field at the same time. They declined to do so.

They interviewed Sheridan Cavitt who was clearly on the record as saying nothing had happened in Roswell. In fact, he was on the record denying that he had been in Roswell at the right time, then that he had been assigned to the base but hadn’t arrived, and finally, according to what he told the Air Force, he had not only been there but had gone out to recover the balloon.

In fact, Cavitt’s interview with Colonel Richard Weaver is published in the first final report. Weaver visited Cavitt at his home (as did I) and asked him about the trip out to the Foster ranch with Mack Brazel. Cavitt told Weaver that he recognized the debris as a balloon as soon as he saw it. He didn’t explain why he told neither Colonel William Blanchard, the commanding officer in Roswell, nor Major Jesse Marcel, the air intelligence officer, that the wreckage was a balloon. Instead he allowed the "misidentification" to go forward until Brigadier General Ramey launched the weather balloon story.

Weaver, it would seem, if he cared for the truth, would have either asked why Cavitt had not explained the situation to Marcel or Blanchard, or why he hadn’t made the proper identification to them. Even after telling Weaver that he knew it was a balloon, Cavitt still told me that he hadn’t been out to the ranch and he didn’t know why both Marcel and Bill Rickett, Cavitt’s NCOIC in 1947, would say he was there. So, which story by Cavitt was true.

Had the Air Force been interested in learning the truth, rather than interviewing only those people who worked on Project Mogul, and of course, Lt. Col. Madson and many of his crew about dropping anthropomorphic dummies some ten years later, they would have interviewed some of the surviving members of Blanchard’s staff, but they avoided that. Instead the took short exerpts from tapes from the Fund for UFO Research and they used information from witnesses whose stories were suspect.

Those "witnesses" statements he did use were chopped up or from witnesses who had been exposed by UFO researchers including Gerald Anderson, Jim Ragsdale and Glenn Dennis. All three were exposed in my 1997 book, The Randle Report (published about the same time as McAndrew’s report). That didn’t stop McAndrew however.

As I say, I offered to send McAndrew copies of audio and video tapes of the military officers. I offered to send transcripts of those interviews. I offered to supply telephone numbers and addresses, though McAndrew, with the resources available to him wouldn’t have needed that help. But instead, McAndrew just attempted to get me to say that I had been in this for the money. That it wasn’t true.

So, while Bragalia’s interview with Madson is interesting, while it is important because of what it says about the Air Force investigation, it gets us no closer to a final, proven answer. It underscores the mission of the Air Force in their Roswell investigation, which was to bury the case under a pile of irrelevant and inaccurate information. Now there are millions who believe that the Roswell case is explained as a balloon based on the Air Force "investigation."

Tony has exposed just one more flaw in that investigation. He showed how McAndrew manipulated the information to reach the conclusions that he was required to reach. I know the direction of the investigation because I had many conversations with McAndrew and the tone was always the same. I could tell him that I was only in it for the money and he could respect that... but he knew there was nothing to claims of aliens in Roswell.

We now have more ammunition. We can cite Lt. Col. Madson as someone who should know the score and he tells us that his words were manipulated by the Air Force. We have other evidence of that. What we can say is that the Air Force Roswell report clears up nothing. It just adds to the confusion and I wouldn’t be surprised if that was the whole purpose.
